So damn good. Lord, please grant me one day back in '64-65-66 before I cross over. I was happy then....and the British Invasion had magnificent rock music coming at us from every which way. Sighhhhh. RIP Lesley .....you entertained millions and still are missed big time. jbeinarizona
We can't let you do that--go back to 64-65-66, or I'd pay you to take me with you at whatever cost!!!! The USA is a burned-out shell of what it was in those far-better years, even after the shocking murder of the peace-loving President Kennedy the year prior.
My God. Do I love her or do I love her? Brilliant. I was only 3 or 4 but I would love to go back to those days. Much more innocent times for us youngsters and I am so lucky to have grown up in the 60's and early 70's.
Where did this version come from? I used to turn up the volume as the fade happened so I could hear every note she sang. Now it's all there including a denouement from the background singers. Is this available to buy on a CD?
@@fredhemeon5386 Thank you for this info! The ironic part is I already have that CD but obviously didn't remember this version on it when I played it after I got it. Thrilled that I don't have to search for it since I couldn't afford it now anyway. Cheers!

Lesley's private life was totally different from her boy-girl lyrics.
