Don't know why so many people say negative things about Philadelphia. Even though the bad news is true, Philly is never given credit for things like:among very top of world orchestras, indisputable among number of top colleges and universities, spectacular architecture, world class museums, world class restaurants and hospitality, highly sophisticated and educated people, highly represented on any list of who's who, historical significance as first in just about everything (NYC made it big, but Philly made it happen),, only American city recognized as a World Heritage City, top ten GDP, major medical and chemical research center...the list is too long to continue. True, its not exciting, but it is awesome. Oh yea, largest shopping mall in terms of number of high end shops.

GDP? The minimum wage there is 7.25.

@@DBrown-vg1fi yes GDP is in the top 10. Matter fact Philadelphia has a higher GDP than some states and countries. Philadelphia is in no means small

Yes especially if you go downtown in center city it’s basically New York in the night and Paris in the mornings.

Center City Philadelphia is awesome!! As a young guy I worked at John Wanamaker Dept store on Market st back when they had doormen at the front entrance.
The store was so big a first timer could get lost.
You had Reading terminal market down the street along with Strawbridge & Clothiers Dept store. Also there's Walnut and Chestnut St shopping. And don't forget about South St.
On a Friday night me and my buddies would go clubbing in Center City!
Philadelphia women are honest and intelligent and will commit to you!!
The best thing about Philly are the people!!

I agree, if you visit NYC, if you have an extra day to spend, go 90 miles south/southwest to Philly. It has many American historical places to visit and also has its own culture, vibe and food scene. Plus, the observation deck at One Liberty is a great bargain as well as a great view!

As someone who grew up in Philadelphia, I've never liked center city much in the daytime, but I love it at night. I just love Philly in general, though.

There still a lot of the old buildings left in Philadelphia I remember the same buildings downtown back in the 60s And 70s

    • @crazeyjoe

While they have bold, new skyscrapers. Philly is smart to keep the older buildings as well. Different eras, different styles. I did like what they did with One Liberty Place. While it is modern being a mostly glass enclosed structure. I like the fact that the top of the building and the spire gives it a neo art deco look!

Sorry as much as I love Philadelphia I am really hard pressed to see the point of this video. The music had nothing to do withe images. And there was absolutely no logic in how the images were presented. The predominate image presented were traffic cones.......

Thomy Dee this had to be a few years back. Today it’s more modern with all the updates to buildings especially in university city. Also the subway stops are redone now.
