    Don't buy a used car without a car fax report, and a prepurchase inspection from a reputable mechanic, if they refuse the latter walk away.

      Here's the issue: how many people have connections to a mechanic, who will leave their particular place of business for that day, to go with you to inspect a vehicle? Very few, and that's just assuming that those mechanics are family related, or friends of a family!

      Now the car fax report is only as valid as the info that they receive on the vehicle. You have to look out for huge gaps in a car fax report. For example: if a car has a service report on 11-21-21, and then the next service report appears on 10-12-22, with no milage report, Im not trusting that vehicle, because a lot could have happened in that huge gap of time that car fax would not be aware of! So always be careful!

      @@jayhowell7133 You need to to take a used car to mechanic’s shop so it can be inspected while it’s on the lift before purchase. If the seller refuse just walk away.

    We have a problem in the state Utah with car dealerships both professionally. And 2nd hand car dealerships that are funded by Mexican cartels that are financing these vehicles and you're getting screwed. These are vehicles that have been involved in floods which involved salt water. And they have major electrical problems and the state Utah. Knows this but they're letting it go on and on and on. Why do you think you have so many car dealerships on state street going down through Utah? These are corrupt dealerships that are. That are paying off the legislature and the car dealerships around the state to flood the people of Utah with bad vehicles. And the state knows it and they're not doing anything about it

    Titles on vehicles over 10 years old don't require mileage statements because odometers are not warranteed by manufacturers that long. It could have 500,000 miles on it and a used odometer with 90,000 miles.

    This is a good thing to cover these smaller dealerships are taking advantage of our less fortunate 🇺🇸. Another thing to look into is a holding fee had that happen to me. $500 non-refundable fee to hold a vehicle just to find out they have no idea where the title is.

    If the person selling the “low mileage” vehicle doesn’t provide the vin, that pretty much means that the odometer might’ve been rolled back the odometer because looks can be deceiving and the listing could be too good to be true as well because whenever I saw a 2008 Suburban Z71 with 80,000 for sale, I looked at the pictures of it and I noticed some obvious signs that this Suburban had more miles than what the seller said it had and I also checked the sellers reviews and one person mentioned that the seller couldn’t provide the vin to the Suburban and that was another red flag

    Dealers should NOT be allowed to sell cars from out of state without THE DEALER providing a CARFAX report.
    Car dealers make the laws in the Utah legislature.

    It was a flooded vehicle was involved in a flood like many of these vehicles. That come here to Utah were involved in flood. That is affecting the electrical system. And you talk consume. And the state knows it and they're letting it. Because you're unwilling to confront the. The major dealerships in Utah like the millers and the Tim dallies and the other dealerships that are actually engaging in this practice. And so the minor dealing ships are doing it because they don't know they'll be protected by the big dealerships. There is corruption going on with the used car and even the dealerships in this state. And has been going on for decades and no one wants to confront it because the legislators are in the pockets of the lobbyists of these dealerships.

    It's always a bad idea to finance a 2007 truck with 98,000 miles on it, but that doesn't matter. She was sold this truck under false pretenses. That is the textbook definition of fraud.

  • @gregwoodhouse5423
    @gregwoodhouse5423 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    It's electrical and it was a flooded vehicle and they're not describing what was going on with the vehicle. You have fault information about the vehicle. It was probably in a flood when you have electrical problems with these vehicles. They come from the East Coast or the Gulf and they were involved in these flooding issues and they're set out here to the West. By unscrupulous car dealerships especially used car dealerships that are incorrect.

    worried about the mileage? and if carfax last mileage statement was years ago or questionable? It's simple, just scan the cars PCU or ECU that will forever say the true mileage unless changed but you can tell because both computers will match the vin. Simple as that.

    This should not be Wendy's problem! The dealership needs to release her from that loan! If the dealership purchased that vehicle, it should be their responsibility to check, and make sure that the vehicle was good! Once they found out that the vehicle was bad from Florida, they should have taken back the vehicle from Wendy, give her a full refund, and release her from that loan! All these things makes you stay away from used car dealers!
