The Omar Ka Band plays the irresistible West-African groove, Mbalax amongst other African rhytm's, brought with a tough funkyness and a spicy jazzy flavour. Everywhere they play the crowd goes nuts. They can be booked as a powerfull 8-piece band but they work regularly wiith guests like Lilian Viera, Izaline Callister and Hans Dulfer.
For several years they play monthly at Matinee du Monde in Groundz, Rotterdam, every 1st sunday of the month, startin 14:00. Since this year also every 2nd sunday of the month in Korzo, Den Haag.
They can be booked as a powerfull 8-piece band but they work regularly with guests like Lilian Viera, Izaline Callister and Hans Dulfer.
