Amazing, amazing, no words to describe. In recent times, I haven't heard a more detailed analysis of lefts and its contemporary politics. However, when Abhinav asked Alexi that whether RSS is occupying space of Lefts, I couldn't help but laughing. Lefts never occupied any space in indian minds as Ruchir rightly said in India we look at left as party with foreign allegiances. Thanx for very fruitful and rich discussion. 🙏👏
I could find reference of M N Roy's alternate constitution or draft proposal in 1944 but couldn't find anything that Savarkar either endorsed or was part of making it. I shall be happy to have reference. Thanx.
And that is showcased by the fact that the left in India is directly connected to the Americna left and they continue to print (with ever increasing furvour), insane articles about India, Modi, Hindutva and Hinduism with absolutely 0 ideas of ground realities. Apart from nationalism left also failed to see caste in India . May be their national leaderships Bengal bias resulted in this failure . It is the other reason why Left is successful in Kerala as majority of its cadres are still from ezhava community .

Hi Abhinav. I am avid follower of your channel and different type of people that you bring in. But I should say this particular program was a completely different delicacy. Alexi and Ruchir their knowledge on left since it’s inception in India was awesome. I honestly learned quite a lot of new things that I wasn’t aware of. You as usual talked very few words with very relevant/intelligent questions, to the point and then guests take over. I would like to listen more of such interviews with these type of new knowledgeable guests. Thanks and keep up with the good work.

Anything going Left aur Right is ought to fail in Bharat. Why? Our traditions and cultures are embodied in Middle Path so that its easy to swing Left or right depending on the situation in the Rashtra

Yeah middle path lead to nowhere.
Policies like nonalignment a mix of socialism and capitalism don't help india in any way.
Middle path is good in spirtual pruisit but in the realm of politics some times u have to choose a side.

State interference & control on economy will always go hand-to-hand with State's control over people's freedom.
State should monitor broad framework of economy & in the direction it wants economy to move.
It should limit itself to basic selfare & essential services (even here it should not have total monopoly except on matters of law & order and justice)
