HARDCORE NUZLOCKE RULES (POKEMON HARD MODE)

1. Only Pokemon with a Poison-typing can be used in battle.
2. I can only try to catch the first Poison-type that I encounter in each area.
3. If a Pokemon faints it cannot be used for the remainder of the run.
4. If my whole team faints then the attempt is over.
5. No items in battle (held items are okay).
6. Set mode enabled.
7. I cannot over-level beyond the highest level of the next gym. The level cap is shown in the overlay.
8. No duplicate species can be caught. Encounters for species that I have caught previously are re-rolled.
9. Any shiny Poison-type can be caught regardless of whether it is the first encounter of an area.
10. WILD AREA: Limit of one initial encounter on my first visit and one additional encounter for each gym badge. Isle of Armor encounters are included in this limit.
11. No Dynamax.

This team had some really good Pokémon, but the MVP for me is Scolipede just because of the incredible sweeps and baton pass.
I've been doing a Sword poison nuzlock for the past week, and yeah, Scolipede is clutch. Between Scolipede and Toxapex that always crits posioned mons, my team is solid

Yeah, my Ace is Toxtricity Low Key Forme, my other Poison Types are Skuntank, Garbador, Scolipede, Toxicroak and Roserade. I'm the Poison-type User in my family, my little sister is the Grass-type User and my little brother is the Fighting-type User.
I mean scolipede was the reason baton pass got banned.

I think, more than anything, this shows just how powerful Poison types became after gen 4. Seriously, Scolipede is monstrous. I remember using it in my first ever White playthrough to be disappointed, only to see it get seriously buffed in gen 6.
Absolutely! So many cool combos they can run in the newer gens
Plus, poison types are some of the best looking and coolest Pokémon in my opinion

3:44 You would have had a Dark type move for Stunky if you'd use the Payback TM on it... It's behind Prof. Magnolia's home and you can get it before battling Hop there.
Not only good setups, but a good storyline for the entire video. The trainer becoming more toxic and using more insane strategies as they go on is better than most tv show/movie/anime (mainly Pokémon) plots. Good job!

I don’t know if you allow max den catches but it if you were could have able to catch a (hidden ability) speed boost scolipede. It would have made your baton passing strategy even more broken.
I generally don't use raid encounters but that would have been BUSTED!

The Toxel line is my absolute favorite in SwSh. My first play through of Shield was a nuzlocke, and after my starter died Toxtricity became my team lead.
Toxtricity is just so cool! My favourite gen 8 Pokemon for sure

Sword and shield challenges may not be as challenging, but I love the Pokemon diversity you can get with all the encounters

I’ve used scolipede for over a year now. It’s perfect. Especially the speed boost scolipede. The best set up mon that’s not an Uber imo.

This is super funny because I did a Nuzlocke with only using Dark, Psychic, Poison and Ghost Types and Kabu was also really tough for me!

Bulk is always the issue with Salazzle. It falls in two shots to most resisted hits, and a good chunk of his team carries strong coverage.

I agree with you. Poison types are one of the coolest one along with mythical dragons, cool ice, roaring fire, sneaky dark, spooky ghost and mighty ground types.
Salazzle has corrosion. You could’ve poisoned the duraludon and avoided the benusaur KO all together.

I played this same nuzlock, though got lucky in isle of armor so my first pick up there was a lvl 20 toxapex, and got a salazzle before the 3rd gym

There are a lot of poison types you can get really early in the isle of armor like salandit and venopide

I've done a poison run in the past, they're actually really fun. My nicknames never really change though. Cyanide, Arsenic, Nightshade...well I'm sure you get the idea.

Merciless Toxapex is so op that I can play most of the alola games with only this pokemon (in a casual playthrough). And with a salazle for the occasional steel type

Hey! That's a bit of a complex question to answer. The biggest general piece of advice would be to 'just start' (very cliche, I know) but more than that, focus on constantly improving every little aspect with each video. If you do, the quality will get to a point where the channel will start to grow. I'm happy to field any specific questions you might have on Discord so just reach out for any specific advice (link is in the descriptions of my videos).

My favourite type hands down! Used to be tied with Fighting but I found that my love for Pro Wrestling only goes so far. Whilst repping the Poison Types, will never get burnt out. Toxicroack do me proud brother!

I want to do a poison nuzlocke so bad. I’m doing a grass type nuzlocke currently but poision will proabbaly be my next one. That’s funny, I have a venasaur for the grass nuzlocke too and I named her poison Ivy. Yes it’s a female. That’s relatively rare.
