Avenger 180 ki engine bahot smooth and enough powerful hai but iski turning radius bahot jyada hai jo ki feel hoti hai normal bike se ye bike pe ane me. Tight corners pe muskil hai kyu ki front tyre bahot age rehte hai. New riders ko foot rest bahot age hone ke wajah se traffic me stop and go situation me issue ayegi. Gear shifter ki distance dusro se dur hai jese lagti hai 10 size ki shoes keliye bani ho. Neutral indicator tank pe rehti hai to bar bar dhyan waha jaane ke badle speedometer pe jaati hai jaha neutral sign hai hi nahi. Otherwise highway keliye bahot badhiya hai bcz iski seats kaafi achhi comfort deti hai. Surprisingly 180 ki engine vibrations kaafi Kam hai. Suzuki intruder ki jesi refinement feel hoti hai. Pillion ke sath power Kam feel nahi hoti but intruder or gixxer me 60kg+ pillion ho to power ki kami feel hoti hai bcz wo 155cc ki engine hai. Ye thi meri avenger riding experience. Me ek bs6 gixxer sf owner hu.

I own Avenger 220 from 2014....it's 10 years now. Still in love with my bike. But bajaj destroyed Avenger with worst updates. I would like to update my bike with a new one...if they make it better. Those round lights.... Better engine. A 4v engine is needed... I hope it comes with dominar 250s engine atleast. A bike that can cruise around 80-100 easily and smoothly. That's only needed for a touring guy.

A cruiser is not a tourer. Cruisers are made for 100-200km at max. Tourers keep you comfy for 1k km in one go. For long distances raised legs arent nice.
Before doing anything, I think they should do a better brake job, better cruising rpm, Pulsar re-tuned engine is not an option, they also need work on the rake angle of the bike, sudden braking is one of the worst experience I have.
@@ryansil5854 I haven't felt much problems yet .... But many of my frnds faced issue with my bikes braking. I think I'm used to it so I don't feel an issue. New riders will find issue. Smooth and refined engine and a classic looking bike is what a crusing guy needs. No much electronics needed for a touring guy. I need a smooth engine which can easily go 80-100 speed. Bike should sound well. That's my requirement

This bike has got a lot of potential but need Rear discbreak Backlight switches like dominar and i wish this comes with 400cc with good thumping sound 🔥

Now avenger should be upgraded with Dominar 400 engine and some modification in it looks so that it can compete with RE super meteor with lesser price and more affordable
If Honda rebel can keep up with 1000cc cruiser bikes because of having a well tuned 500cc engine. Then Bajaj can do something similar bringing the Dominar's engine to Avenger. It can easily compete with RE, Honda Rebel and Kawasaki Vulcan. It will grab a huge market share in India because this bike is styled and built like a beast.
Hope Bajaj takes this seriously and makes Avenger the king again.

Increased price? Are you okay with that too? I think RE Hunter 350 is a better choice if you need something new from avenger.
I am having two Bajaj Avengers, 1 at my native since 2014, 220CC variant and another at my workplace since 2017, 220CC Cruiser model (F*L*G). After having almost a decade riding experience with Bajaj Avenger , I can confirm that the Bajaj Avenger is the best Indian cruiser bike available in market. While purchasing in 2017 I wanted a cahnge and ridden Royal Enfield 350CC Redditch edition and Thunderbird both, but they couldn't beat my Avenger riding experience. Actually I had already booked Royal Enfield 350CC Redditch Edition but soon regretted and took back my token money and again purchased 220CC Avenger cruiser model only.
I have done many times more than 500Kms in a single day with my Avenger cruiser. And I also use it for my daily commute in city traffic. It is capable of handling both. You can ride in city as well as you can cruise on highways with really decent speed without any vibrations.
Now I also want an upgrade and I hope soon they will launch Avenger with atleast a 400CC engine or equivalent power to KTM 390 or Himalayan 450.

Same here having 2019 Avenger 220 cruise, it's the best bike I have ridden for long rides. Nothing comes close.

Avengers want to High ground clearance & 250 cc engine and longest seat to cruise anyware with pillion and zero handle vibration,upside down fork, smart speedo meteor, and also available enough sparepart, accessories
Need n160 and n250 engine in Avenger. And fully digital instrument console with turn by turn navigation. Need LED headlights and some cosmetic changes like Harley Davidson breakout. ❤❤❤

Bajaj Avenger should think for new upgradation in every level, more importantly the pillion seat. That it is unmathachable by any brand with its price segment.
I hv 2019 model Cruise 220, and believe me, it is my best purchase so far.
I did Delhi-Dehradun, Delhi-Shimla, Delhi-Manali, Delhi-Gwalior multiple times and even now after 5 years and 45000-plus kms., its power delivery and sheer comfort is unmatchable. After 8-9 hrs. long drive, you will feel just 3-4 hrs. drive feeling.
Even now it is giving 42-43 kmpl in chaotic Delhi NCR daily city ride traffic and almost 45-48 kmpl on highways (full tank to full tank calculation) and not even a single nut or bolt ditched me during riding.
And yes, you are correct. It needs an update for sure (probably to 300cc or more engine power) ans definitely restructuring of pillion seat.

Same here I have a 2019 220 cruise and it's the best bike I've ever ridden for long rides. Nothing even comes close.
With a well tuned dominar engine this bike will be a beast and easily compete with RE, Honda Rebel, Vulcan and all, because a 500cc Honda Rebel with a well tuned engine can keep up with 1000cc cruiser bikes. Hope our dream comes true one day.
I've a 220 street 2016 model and it's still running fine. Was eagerly waiting for an Avenger street with dominar engine but it never came.
So when I decide to upgrade, I'll look for something like kawasaki Vulcan or yamaha night star.

Bajaj Avenger is not suited for people having height above 5.75 feet.

I think it's high time Bajaj should upgrade Avenger series and plonk ns 200 engine into it. They can also plonk d400 engine with some tweaks for better ridability
I am also looking forward to buy new style of Avenger 220cc by changing some or more features like back seat wider , tank capacity has to increase, 2 to 3 kmpl more millage, new style,front wide tubeless tyres, etc.

Yes, Avenger needs a new generation.
- Pillion seat have always been a problem.
- Being 220 there should be "Disk Brakes" as rear brakes which is easier to maintain than drum.
The drum in rear is a shitty brake, have many incidents which nearly got me killed if I would not have been a good rider.
- "Kick start" which is a must, I have to change my battery every 2 years which is a big inconvenience and how much does it cost to provide a lever and a shaft.
- "Quality" of engine parts could be better as they wear fast.
- "Tachometer" should be there.
Anyway we have to pay more than a lakh and can stretch more, but the company should give better-practical product as well.

As I seek my next bike to be an EV with at least 250-300 KM range and pick up like 250cc bike, i.e. 0-60Kmph in 2 Secs, 110+ Top Speed, etc...

@@motopediain I commented this because for recent few days I've been having a recommendation of a German guy touring India on a EV with all above mentioned features.... and that bike all have those features except the bike is the sports category...
Also the EV bike category is sort of vacant right now and they could launch really good EV bike especially Avengers EV ...

Always saw the Avenger as a sad bike.
When I see a cruiser looking like that I expect a big engine, big torque, high cruising speed, roaring engine sound. It lacked all.
On a 220 bike you need atleast 20+ torque. 18 Nm torque is a joke.
बजाज एवेंजर का ब्रेकिंग सिस्टम में सुधार की जरूरत है, पिछली सीट पर ध्यान की भी जरूरत है।
Avenger needs more torque under 4000 rpm, retuned Dominar engine would be the best. Also brakes needs upgrade, plus navigation system should be added.

Many think that avenger may need a 350 or a 400, 450 engine by that it will loose the ability heat management and become just like any other Royal Enfield! It’s best they give it a 250cc engine and keep the same low height and may be get it a bit more ground clearance. Good tripper and navigation, charging port and a proper back top rack after the pillow seat. Come with nice split seat for the pillon. Make it linked monoshock and continue the street and cruise versions. Have a cruise switch on the cruise model and good driving modes. Bajaj can come up with its own pannier options both soft and hard!

i have avenger 220 cruise 2017 model its best for city ride and long ride but it will be nightmare in offroad and traffic. while driving in offroad the front footrest is streched more to front which make it difficult to stand in bumps , riding for long time in bad road has direct impact on spine cos we cant stand and take impact on legs , if we are driving fast and suddenly we cant stop on pothole all the impact will be taken in spine which is not pleasant. its perfect and love its power and pick up but it lack slipper clutch and disk brake at back and higher CC engine. another big problem i face is if i drive fast in mud due to its long wheelbase it slips and its hard to control overall its a good bike
Agree, I think this problem is there with all cruiser bikes since it is designed that way. For offroad adventure bikes are the best.

Bajaj is slow as a company to bring even linear growth in its line up, or else they would have launched Avenger 400 with the Dominar engine. Such a bike was due more than 2-3 years ago!

I own a avenger stret 160 since 2021 , but still i think its perfect even pillion seat , just need to change back rest like 220 and it would be fine for pillion. One thing i have noticed that leg guards which is split one should have been changed . It should be single unit like Royal Enfield. Because when you drop your bike which has the most weight in 150-180 cc segment, this leguards are unable to bear bike's weight and its bend to engine.

Bajaj should add rear disc brakes in 220 cc avenger. Riding 220 street from 2017, handling and control is good but I think brakes should be better.
The problem with cruiser bikes is that they require more rotation space... Thats it.. and Indian roads as u know.. but Avenger is good at this segment range.. and Thunderbird is not a pure cruiser bcz seat height is still more

Bring it in a higher capacity engine. I drove 220, and because of the superb structure i feel it can easily manage a 400 cc engine...

Avenger 400 would have been an RE killer, these guys are too short sighted. Bajaj is run like a mummy-papa kirana store. Had they employed someone smart like siddhart Anand they’d be 100x where they are now

I have street 220. I had to modify the pillion seat. I want a 250 cc engine with a more tractable engine where the low end performance and mid range performance become better and more tractable and fuel efficient while like the Yamaha R15 engine it is supposed to have a VVA technology for high end performance with one size bigger tyre size. Switch gear, meter console and seat design should be redesigned and quality should be upgraded specially the wiring and its hardware quality. Speed 400 should be the ideal for neat fit and finish of wiring and attention to details of design language. Overall look should be improved. Look at triumph speed 400 how beautifully they made it, same language and attention to detailing should be given in this new model. I am not happy with the current gen headlight design. It should be classic and more beautiful. Engine power should be at 25 to 27 bhp and torque should be around 26 to 30. But the mileage should be above 36 in any riding condition. For it the engine should be updated or rather reengineered. All variants should come with alloy wheels, tubeless tyres, abs, traction control and upside down front fork and top speed should be around 140 while the sweet spot should be 80 kmph to 110 kmph.

Muje pillion seat to acchi hi lagi bhai. But Bajaj Avenger 220 cruise me particularly hard breaking k time front tyre Left side zyada push ho jata hai. Jiske karan Balance bigad jata hai, I have shown that thing on my Channel. And jab road ban Raha tha, tab Black patar k wajeh se bhi bohot jyada unbalance ho Rahi thi bike. Ab Iski jagah Recently Honda CB 350 test drive ki. Ek barr bus chalake deakhna CB 350 ko, baki sub khud hi samaj jaoge.
CB 350 is good product but not in the segment.
