I love this skit. As a Christian though I must say that he has a valid point. Christians fall into that type of unbiblical thinking a lot and it's sad to see that. But still a funny Skit man.... 😊
I just love your comedy! Every time we see you we laugh so hard our faces hurt! We have your cd, and both Thou Shalt Laughs! But my favorite routine is the one you did at Faith and The Cause, about the woman praying who must know Jesus because she even knows His nicknames! lol I would LOVE to see that one here! BTW, Thank goodness we had someone in mind! Whew!
@@thingsiwonder2001 You know I have this brother who's actually antireligious, biased and unjust against the "oversaved", and he has every right to have such a belief... See our parents shipped him off to some ranch in Missouri, 10 years ago for a year he got to learn firsthand about "oversaved" people. To me, looking back on it, I thought it was kinda extreme on our parents' part to do such a thing, just because they thought he was your typical loud, impulsive rebellious teenager. Maybe they were watching a lot from some show called "World's Strictest Parents" lol Anyway, like 5 and a half years later, after he came home, on Christmas Day, he was smoking weed and took lsd at the same time and he had a full blown psychosis and he ended up getting diagnosed with bipolar disorder... And our parents realized that it explained a lot of why he acted the way that he did. My brother and our parents have done a lot of work over the past 4 years and their relationship has healed tremendously. My brother, himself has come a long way too and I have never been more proud of him than I ever have before.
@@adammilette3076 Wow! What a beautiful ending to a really rough start. I am so glad that you have a family that put in the work to turn things around! So many don't in this day and age. I know you are atheist, I also believe you and your family are blessed lol (hope I didn't offend) with strength, fortitude and resilience! It makes me so happy to hear about families who overcome such obstacles. Adam, thank you for sharing.
Sorry thumps up, I was just talking to one of those type of people! There is no regular conversation. And they never even cast out one demon or heal a fly! Truth is better than a lie! Now that's funny!!!
This is so funny... Reminds of client I had... I ask her to spell her name & she said "G" as n Genesis & started speaking n tongues lol and she did this on every letter in her name lol I had 2 put my phone on mute cause I was lol so hard...
You can't be over-saved, only under-saved. The world needs more "over-saved" folks out there that are seriously Kingdom minded and set-apart from the world. (I hate those Dirt Devil vacuum cleaners and those "sinfully-sweet" tomatoes - In the Name of Jesus be gone! REPENT FOR THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN IS NEAR!!
Christian Repenter So your comment was simply judgmental and the Bible says only God can Judge. Its comedy ok, nothing to get bent out of shape over. For the record there is no over or under saved. Once we except Jesus as our Lord and Savior we are saved. End of story. If you want to know for your own sake- I grew up Christian going to church weekly and went to Christian schools k-12. I go to church weekly, my wife and I run a volunteer disability ministry with 30+ kids and 50+ volunteers, I do daily devotions and we are participating in a group study called the Proverbs Challenge (you can look it up, great study about wisdom). So calling me undersaved was rude, judgmental, and and simply not acting as Jesus instructs us. I think you need a little more Love in your heart and less haughty pride about yourself and your faith, cause thats not how Jesus called us to live and that attitude will only scare non-believers away. Try building up treasures in heaven not here on earth (in other words trying to gain favor by your own means), cause the only way to win favor in God and man is with kindness and loyalty (Proverbs 3:3). I challenge you to do the Proverbs Challenge and see how radically different your mindset will become, cause frankly it infected with religiosity not Jesus!
Andrew Huber So it appears that you condone all of your judgments about me while claiming I'm judgmental and that only God can Judge? You're the one getting bent out of shape here. You say no one is over-saved, but you 1st said I was oversaved? That's nice you do volunteer disability ministry, I have a big heart for the disabled. So my saying you "might be undersaved" was "rude, judgmental, and not acting as Jesus instructs," though your saying I'm oversaved is okay? You're really contradicting yourself in some serious hypocrisy. Can you see that? I could say you need more love in your heart. And you can worry all you want about scaring unbelievers away and focus solely on Proverbs 3:3, but there are other Proverbs that address other attributes to win favor in God and man - like preaching repentance of sin like Jesus did (as well as John the Baptist, and all of the apostles). I think you sound pretty infected with the religiosity of a modern evangelicalism that preaches a one sided message of God's love to the complete neglect of His wrath, while diluting evangelism with fear of man and love of the world. I suggest repenting.
Christian Repenter Im not sure if you know what lol mean but it is a way of expressing sarcasm and illustrating that the comment was meant to be a joke. Therefore your pulling my comment out of context disturbs me. So ill reiterate, theres no need to get so worked up over a joke. I have no need to repent over hypocrisy because jokes arent meant to be serious, as you evidently took it, and also when speaking in sarcasm. Thats why i stated "for the record I dont think one can be over or under saved" that was me not joking. This was to expand upon to point that were not required to do anything beyond excepting Jesus to get into heaven aka we can't earn salvation. Of course Michael jr know this but its funny to talk about people who act as he was saying in his comedy sketch. You called it a message... no its a comedy sketch. So first realign your viewpoint because thats where the problem is stemming from and then realize were living in the world, so we have to except a certain amount of what is in the world. Unless you never want to experience enjoyment in this life, which contradicts many verses in Proverbs. were not suppose to be of the world, but were a part of it. You act like were living in the old testament. Its fine to preach repentance but you have to do it in love, which according to your comments its done in prideful arrogance, not love as Jesus instructed us. By the way your habit of pulling things out of context is scary. Were commanded not to do that with the Bible for our own gain (like old school catholicism) so Id be careful if I were you about not following the whole Bible and all its commands and choosing to live your life solely for the parts you deem fit your worldview and your ideas of life. Like I said, preaching repentance is fine, doing it as fear mongering is not ok, only preaching repentance and not with love, not ok. If your called to and gifted in preaching by all means go for it, just dont limit yourself to one topic, because thats not going to gain you many heavenly treasures. I challenge you once again to take part in the Proverbs Challenge, by Jolly Johnson ( www.theproverbschallenge.com/ ). Itll radically change your life and your Bible study, unless your scared to change and evolve as a Christian and are happy being stuck in your ways. So answer me this, hows your daily life with Jesus, your weekly life partaking in fellowship? From my experiences Christians such as yourself find an idea in the Bible and they align themselves and their worldview with that and then run with it, never going back to daily Bible study, not being open to change, because they think they have it figured out. Its called a narrow view point. An example is the horse blinders- they limit the view of the horse to only whats in front so they dont get spooked. Ask yourself, have you put on Christian blinders and are ignoring Gods other principles and teaching, focusing only on what you want to see? Thats for you to decide, from what I can tell based on your response to my posting Proverbs 3:3 is that you'd rather ignore verses like that and focus only on the ones referring to repentance as a way to bring us closer to God. Everyone needs repentance on a daily basis because were human and its inevitable that well sin, thats not the only thing one should focus on though!
I love this skit. As a Christian though I must say that he has a valid point. Christians fall into that type of unbiblical thinking a lot and it's sad to see that. But still a funny Skit man.... 😊
