Hey Hearth, I really enjoy your book reviews, especially the finds in thrift stores. Ah, so many books, so little time. So I appreciate reviews from someone who is knowledgeable in magical practice and a voracious reader. Definitely intrigued by the fiction from the description.
Cassandra Eason was the main author who’s book on the craft explained it to me in a really accessible and practical way. After reading it I still used it as a reference on oils, days , planets and timing for decades. I started around 1980. I only got internet about 16 years ago. Her books are great. There is no book that will tell you everything. Now days there is a lot more info being published.
There are so many books & you're right: so little time! That's why I adore your book discussions & reviews. You can help me save time on less than stellar offerings & you motivate me to read the books that sound intriguing. So thank you dear one.
Love these videos so much, I found your channel a few weeks ago and have rewatched all of your book review and roundups many times because they are very soothings. So glad to have this video to add and more books to add to the TBR. Living with a chronic illness means that I have a lot of time to read and I'm loving reading about witchcraft and am very excited to check out that fiction book.
A couple of months ago I did a bit of retail therapy and spent way too much on a handful of witchcraft, herbalism, and a few Fiction books that have some witchcraft aspects in them. I always enjoy watching your book reviews it gives me idea's on what I would like to add to my collection and have found a few that I enjoy while looking for the ones you have reviewed
If you are looking for Astral Projection books I would suggest Ophiel's "Art And Practice Of Astral Projection". Also great video, added a few to my book list 😂
Just received The Crooked Path in the mail today after watching an old video of yours recommending it. Opened the cover only to find out that the author lives in the same town as me, in Minnesota USA! Crazy & very excited to read this
I really do appreciate all your videos and knowledge. Thank you for all you do. I have learned so much. Also, thank you so much for encouraging the acceptance of male witches. You're an amazing and fascinating person. With that said, I have been creating Witch Balls for the Holidays to gift family and friends. I named one "The Hearth Witch Ball". It's for home protection, wisdom, and ant-stress/anxiety.
Hey heart thanks for the video also a book I recommend is "potions, elixirs and brews" written by Anaïs Alexandre hope to hear what u think its by far my favorite book for potions and some drinks for the coven
The "Raising Hell" book by Robert Masello definitely sounds like something I'm going to keep my eye out for in my local metaphysical shops. The Psychic Self-Defense" book by Jan Brody looks kinda interesting, but for me (and my interests in defensive/protection magic and the darker sides of the occult) the others, "Chronicles of Magic" and "Astral Projection" seem a little watered down. Might I suggest "Poison Path Herbal: Baneful Herbs, Medicinal Nightshades and Ritual Entheogens" by Coby Michael? It's a medium sized book that I for one could NOT put down. It divides the ritualistic/medicinal plants up by planetary power sources, AND even speaks in depth about "Flying Ointment". It covers history, plant descriptions, locations, alternatives and uses. It took me only a few days to read the 300 page tome, as I dog-eared and scribbled notes throughout the pages. I loved it so much, that I even gifted it to my sister (who's the most non-witchy person possible) for Christmas as it is SO educational. 5/5 must read!
Thanks Hearth, wonderfully informative video. A possible solution to the cow's lick dilemma is, kirby grip the hair underneath the rest of your hair. It should stay in place and the clip is hidden, much love and support from a fellow cow's lick survivor 😘🥰
Thank you so much for these! I really should get into audio books too. Do you have any suggestions for beginners books? I started with Skye alexander's many of Witchcraft but I learned that's not exactly well seen by actual Witches, I just want to learn the proper way and be safe. Thank you for all you share with us 🙏🏽
hey Hearth really enjoyed this video the last book you reviewed sounds similar to chronicles of the one by nora roberts a good fiction series not really based on real world witch craft but a good read
Hi Hearth! Loving your content and learning a lot, thank you. ♥I wanted to ask a question, about crystals, what is the book you recommend for crystal meanings and correspondences?
Would it be possible to do a video regarding working with infernal’s, demons, learning about the baneful side? I want to learn about it, so I can understand that side. I just don’t know how to start. Thanks
Hi Hearth! Can you recommend any really good books about creating and blending oils? I love Dragon's Blood and would like to experiment in blending my own as well as taking a crack at other recipes. Thanks so much. Blessed Be!
I think I have once found one. Sad how few there are here in Salem, Oregon. I have MUCH better luck on Ebay. Besides the books being resold by individuals, I have often found bunches of new witchcraft books being sold by volume booksellers. Good luck on your treasure hunt!
I am thinking of starting out what would be the best book for me to read. Interested in element craft ,I took a quiz and it said I am spirit or air . I have a lot of very strange things that happen to me seeing the past seeing the future and just knowing things . I have a spirit guide that says she is my previous life and that my sole is six life's long , she tells me things and steer's me around harm on a regular basis. Things that are happening that have to do with me I just seem to know.she tells me names and age's of people that I need to know . So I am turning to the arts to try and find what is going on with me . I am starting to think I am just nuts or something . Life's my sole has had before her talk to her and she talks to me . One night I woke up speaking ancient Egyptian or something. Any insight would be very helpful and if you think this might be the right path for me . Thanks best regards Ryan

Even The Sensational Alex Harvey band did a song about Isobel Gowdie.
