Today we're talking about curses, what can be mistaken for a curse and how to resolve them. This isn't an all-encompassing video, but I have tried to include as many things I have experienced or witnessed.

I often think people disregard the “curses” they unintentionally place on themselves with their own negative self talk etc.

I definitely did this to myself in 2019 and it wasn’t until I found witchcraft this year that I’ve been able to reverse what I did.

To a certain extent, you can control unwittingly being cursed by toxic people by placing a thought form on them. This works with people you know you have to deal with such as at work, school or even home. Basically you meditate, cleansing, grounding and putting up your protective orb. Then you visualise the person sitting before you. They are as in a sleep walk. You look them in the eyes and you tell them, "You will be nice today. You will behave yourself". Say it with authority like you are talking to a naughty child. Visualise them saying, 'I will'. Then release them. Easy and very affective...unless you're dealing with a psychopath.
Very interesting. I need to look more into thought forms. Would this be considered baneful magick under the heading of dominance?
My family has always been really close with the tribe in my area. When I was born my papa took me to the shaman and had a special ceremony performed on me. Part of it was for protection. I went on a few dates with a guy and decided I didn't want to continue seeing him. He took his practice to a place I wouldn't want to take mine. And he told me he was a psychic vampire and liked how much my energy charged him. Anyways, when I told him I didn't want to see him anymore he freaked out and told me he was going to curse me with the foulest curses he knew and could find. He ended up contracting something super rare and was in the hospital for three months. I don't know what the shaman did but it was still working after 22 years!
looks more like it was a simple rebound spell the shaman put on you or that the protection placed on you has a rebounding effect.
It's karma. When you do something good or bad, it has to come back to you. So if you do evil, evil will come back. It's the price he had to pay for trying to harm you.
If a group of people with malicious intent...People with psychological disorders caused by trauma. People who are bullies and draw others into their sphere of influence, can inadvertently curse you due to their mental disorders. Maybe narc parents. That kind of thing.
Holy crap! I just had someone tell me a couple of days ago, how crappy my stepmother treated me, compared to my little sisters (her daughters), and they told me, that the step parent could've went to someone to hex me. I mean, that's a possibility. Or maybe even by thought?
I don't know if they have and I'm not going to try anything other than to protect myself, until I can figure out why I'm being pummeled in so many directions, physically and health-wise.
I'm pretty sure my ex stepmother is a narc. That's the only thing I can think of, why she would be so careless. Why she would get onto my dad to treat all us girls equally, which is fair, but not practice what she wanted my dad to do, herself.
Her and her mother were always trying to be rude and aggravating when I'd visit my little sisters for their birthday or school events...
Thank you for this insightful information. ✨️ Was like, finally plugging 2 pieces of a missing puzzle piece, together. Finding that 2nd piece is another "aha!" moment. I hate I'm only finding this out now, years later, but better late than never.
That's exactly what I've been going through!... My psychic gifts have been opening up and my life has completely changed for the worse and now thru this video and comment I'm confirming, even the narc parents, both psychopathic with DID and mom practices witchcraft but passes as Christian... I didn't even want to deal with darkness the way that I am.
I've had someone attempt to curse me three times and well lets just say the return to sender spells I did really effed them up. Biggest advice I can give is stay calm and focused as you go through this process.
My mother is worried about my father’s crazy girlfriend hexing us. (She’s well justified.) mom doesn’t like the label of witch like I do but I won’t do baneful work either. I just told her, don’t fight fire with fire (baneful work) fight it with a firehose (wards, cord cuttings etc). She liked that 😅
Most people curse themselves by how they speak.Negative self talk is the leading case of "bad luck magic" day to day.
I normally don't post and sit to learn but if I can help anyone, it's worth it to me. Being cursed made me feel like I was going to pieces. I went to a shaman to break it. The truths I learned during my session were so much like the person hexing me. If I could give advice here, listen to Hearth. If you can't do it yourself or are too scared, like I was, it is worth paying someone who knows their stuff. I didn't even believe I was cursed. I just knew she always had it in for me. I knew what it meant to be cursed but real curses? I'm a true believer now and always protect and cleanse myself. I love your channel Hearth and always learn so much here.

Instead of a curse, could be your astrology e.g. saturn moves into your 2nd house and your finances plummet, etc
🤔 after my daughter was born my S.O. Started a new job and inside that first week my S.O. Became a very different very unpleasant mean person… my S.O. Started being harassed at work to the point of having to quit and suddenly couldn’t find suitable work thereafter.. a number of our animals suddenly died in rapid succession (cats, chickens, rabbits, & my best friend who was my dog)… oh and a shocking outbreak of flies(hundreds and hundreds and hundreds) that all stayed just outside of the side door to our house. The smell of them was so pungent and revolting, like death. No matter what chemicals we used we could not get rid of them. They were there for weeks…plus a really negative energy in the main rooms of our home(but more so when S.O. Was home).
Soon after our entire family dropped everything and moved hours away. The bad energy followed my husband and I. But the severity of this experience has lessened & weakened over time.
Starting to wonder if someone cursed my S.O. .. maybe one of the people who were doing the harassing..

I’ve been told by different people that I am cursed by an old earthy deity, or pagan deity. That a relative offered me as a sacrifice for their personal gain. Apparently when I was six, so I’ve been prevented from accessing my full light. They this deity has been feeding off of me since. Was told to do a spiritual cleansing, just have no idea how to go about it. Most seem to just want money to do the ritual they claim I need done… I don’t know who to trust, or how to approach finding the right way to handle this!

Nice vid, very balanced and extensive.
My native language is kind of peculiar when it comes to curses. Mainly because instead of throwing regular bunch of obscenities at people when you're angry you will yell atual curses at them, including wishes for their soon, but gruesome death (saying someone to drown themself in a spell-making manner "may you'll..." is quite common phrase), asking deities ("may [deity] strike you!") and malevolent spirits ("may [spirit] take you") to do harm etc. There's quite a lot of this off-handed minor curses floating around and wearing protections are must. They are usually more harmful than evil eye, but usually short lived, as they quickly run out of energy.
I encountered only two intentional major curses with enough energy to back it up. One was casted on company by fired worker and if you know how to lift curse from industrial bakery, let me know. We searched as much of that place as it was plausible but to no avail. No cursed item on premise, impossible to cleanse whole place as it produces food so regulations, things looks bad. We know who casted that and roughly what kind of curse was used (my friend still works in this company and before this person was fired she witnesed some of "style" that other practitioner was using - mainly runes and nordic magic).
Other one was malevolent practitioner who put curse on my friend, also witch. It was by means of cursed plant given to my friend by that person. Plant withered "mysteriously" after apartment cleansing ritual. Spell returned to sender, and dried plant burned. And that thing screamed like mandrake when it was set in flames (creepy AF)

Also, about nightmares... I had situation like that where I was having constant nightmares every single night, feeling drained... and I solved it by leaving the place I was in and cutting all contact with the people I knew at that time. As soon as I moved out I started sleeping like a baby and my energy increased dramatically.
I know that not everyone can just leave, but I'd suggest to try it if you can, even temporarily like a holiday or a week off. See if things get better, see if there's any difference between you in your usual environment and you in the new one. Even if it's not magical, the psychological and physical part are still very important and will have an effect in your life and mindset.
Yes I used to have nightmares about 3 ppl over and over about a year ago. The nightmares stopped but I always feel drained still.
I wish you and the podcast Two Girl's One Ghost would collaborate on topics like this. Their FB groups all full of people in a panic and while I'm able to help some, others are to the point of fear that I'm not sure they're cursed so much as deeply afraid of being cursed. It's a lot of people and we can all remember world history and how that went for regular people let alone actual witches.
Strange as it may be, I would appreciate anyone venting about their own problems to me. This way I can reconfigure my more recent emotional perspectives and remember that it could be worse.
Excellent video, am happy to see the “sometimes you just have some back luck” part. Nice way to scientifically go through checks to see first and if the checks are negative then it could just be bad luck. I like the addition of divination as a check as well.

Have you ever heard of someone having a generational curse ? Would the processes be the same ? Thank you so much for this video !
A generational curse might be a debt that is usually paid by the next generation. If it is a cursed item unknowingly in one's possession, repeatedly passed down to next of kin, a neutralizing ritual or ceremony may work. It might not be malevolent but a traumatic memory attached to item.

What about if someone thinks they were cursed in a previous life? And that curse is still attached. I told someone, surely, I would hope they would be allowed to break said curse. D:
Just because they didn't know in a previous life, I'm sure they would want the curse gone, regardless. 🤷♀️
some of this i knew already. but i did learn something from this. also no need to apologize .
The crystals listed above work well. for the obsidians I usually use apache tear stones. in average light they seem opaque but when held up to the light it seems transparent . Anyhow simply place one apache tear on or near each window of the home and somewhere near the door of a room that has no windows. that will make the environment more lighter and remove or reduce negative energy. I would recommend to put it in sunlight as it will self cleanse daily from the sun's rays and a lesser extent the moon's. Non- practitioners will even notice immediately of the cleansing.
black tourmaline I found along with jet is excellent in dealing with ghost investigations. As it is a good protection against them. my guess it might be good with a spirit causing a curse.
another stone would be black onyx stones. Doesn't matter if they are naturally black or dyed. they can be used in spells to send back or bounce off negative energy.
black stones in general are good for protection and a lesser extent sending back negative energy. some of the non-black stones are red jasper. these are good protection. tanzanite and red jasper are excellent in protection. in general other stones for defensive magic(not just curses but will help with getting rid of or just repelling them) are pure iron(as this can negate magic in general. easier to get out of the USA. mild steel will not be effective but will help.), steel, lodestones, solid sulfur pieces, turquoise, black coral( rare to get), black kyanite , lead(not really recommended ) and turquoise.
brass and pure iron (again mild steel will not be as effective.) will block or destroy magic.
protection from negative environment where it wasn't a curse then try hematite and tire iron. also pyrite and red jasper.
also in general gold and quartz will enhance any magical working.
What are your thoughts on family curses? Could a family curse from an unknown ancestor affect someone? And would someone treat that curse the same way mentioned in this video?
Very interesting video. Just clicked out of curiosity and then watched all 34 minutes without noticing time pass. (I don't think I've every been cursed... hm.)
I partly healed from a mental illness two years ago but there's been two cancer in my family this year. I have been attacked with my dog. He had a tumor. We had it removed. My cat had a tumor too. But it was not malignant. Though we couldn't remove it. And I got a hate letter from my neighbor. I don't think she is into witchcraft. Everything turned ok for all my pets and family members for now. But every two months there was something. No nightmare or foul smell. I contacted spiritual healers but they made a mantra that I have to repeat but the mantra doesn't adress the string of bad luck. I haven't done any witchcraft yet but all of this and a lot of syncronicities make me think that I have to learn to protect my loved ones myself. All of that in grosso modo one year.
I’m pretty sure that I have been cursed. Or fate just doesn’t want me to succeed. Everything that I try fails.

Omg, thank you so much for posting this! I've been tossing the idea back and forth for months now, but the idea of it actually being true sounded so crazy and paranoid that I couldn't bring myself to ask for help with it. Still there's no denying how strange it is for me that another thing breaks, catches on fire, floods, gets lost, multiple pets die, etc. every couple weeks or so and there were a group of people that went completely apeshit when I asked for a trigger warning in the future on something they put out that was really traumatic for me to see. So it just kind of makes sense.
After watching more of the video, another possibility could be from when I did a couple of spells to help a friend get over COVID. It seems like a lesser possibility though, because I would think the energy left behind would all cause things related to bad health. It would explain the pets dying, but doesn't really seem to fit for all of the other household items.
I do appreciate how you explain and discuss the many options it could be. I think most people feel like they have been "Cursed". And your explanation of the mundane, makes great sense. And if it all fails, even the basic cleansing items, will make most feel better instantly. Again, thank you for your video's and your explanations, they are a great watch.

I once had a friend plead with me to cast a hex on her ex-lover. I gauged her sincerity and agreed to do so but then as I was nearly done she backed out not wanting to deal with any rebound energy. The renege ended up spilling onto me. I've since become a lot more strict in my vetting of spell requests.

For poltergeists, it's contested in scientific circles now but Jung assumed that poltergeists come from the person directly. Their individuation is not complete. Their sense of self is shaky and your own spirit make rukus out of your body. Even though it looks like something exterior. My own experience of mental illness made me realise that the self can look very foreign.
A close friend has cursed me/sent negative energy at me. I started noticing cause my whole social life took a turn. And a very intense one at that. Despite the therapy and all my best efforts nothing is getting better. And I noticed other symptoms, weird energies, etc. and a hard time using magic at specific times and locations. Like my energy draining very fast. And I know it's him, cause he's told me a lot that he does this to people, and the specific details match what I've experienced. And I've investigated it as well to make sure.
And I know he's having a hard time keeping that up at the moment 😬(if he's still doing it, that is) I have protections up, but also a very protective spirit around.

In the case of a "Yes": ask a priest for a simple blessing in the Name of JC or guidence in an exorcism-payer (they are not that difficult. It renews your relation to The Trinity FG,S +HS)

I feel like everything we do good or bad comes back to us the same way. So I feel like it's a big mistake to curse someone. Because if it actually were to work, you would have something bad happen to you in return. On top of it just being plain wrong. Also carrying that negative feeling and energy is not good for you. It's better to just move on. I think someone tried to curse me once because my brother dumped her and she thought I let him move in with me. 🙄 It may have worked for a while but I have a feeling she is miserable now. It's sad because I liked her and I was the only one on her side. I'll never understand it.

For about the last 10 months or so I’ve been having these terrible nightmares, (I usually don’t get nightmares) it’s always the same person and situation in it (my EX). At one point a friend of mine who is dead showed up in one of the nightmares telling me I have to wake up while shaking me. I woke up startled.
At the end of September the nightmares got so bad that I woke up with a panic attack (something that has never happened to me before) the panic attacks ended up being so bad (they lasted for about 3 weeks) I ended up calling a therapist to see what was going on.
the weirdest thing about this whole situation was that in October I end up contacting my ex about something I don’t remember what it was about but the moment I did the nightmares just stoped.
I don’t want to jump to conclusion on if it’s magical, (though I do know that both him and the woman he lives with are practitioners) or if it’s a subconscious thing on my part.
When you said nightmares I thought i’d mention it since I’v been trying to figure out what’s going on.
I recommend seeking the advice and help of a spiritual healer (spiritualist). Be discerning and review their google reviews before visiting them. Hope you find answers!

I always have taken it as a coincidence, but it’s like clockwork for my sister every July. It is also including her loved ones passing, breakups happening etc at far higher rates.

Last week my water pump malfunctioned, my water tank ran dry after having a full week of torrential rain and then a day after I paid for a load of water, the connection between the house and the tank broke! (Also, several hours away, my mother's water tank exploded on the day I was having my pump replaced)
I've been looking into everything to do with the element of water 😅
