Using a control stick like the one in the Diamond aircraft could indeed be a great addition to the Tecnam. It can provide a different feel and control experience for pilots. What do you think are the advantages of having a stick control in the Tecnam, and do you have any other preferences when it comes to aircraft controls?
@@AviationFederation I have over 12000 hours on the 37 and 50 seat DHC-8 Turbo Prop. When doing our proficency checks every 6 months, while doing the engine failure after take off Terrain Clearance turn at 50ft, with a left engine failed in a left turn the yoke blocks enough of the flight instruments that makes it difficult to see them which is very distracting. The yoke has to be high enough to clear our legs so it is right up high between our eyes and the instruments. A stick can be low enough that no part of the instrument panel is blocked. A center stick also gives good situational awareness or spacial orientation and efficiency of movement as a move in one direction combines two movements of a yoke. A center stick allows use of any or both hands that a side stick makes very difficult to do. (Sprained a left wrist on an overnight once) It's probably more efficient to build as well. My 2 cents.
DA-62 burns jet fuel. At least in my country (Brazil) it is being the best seller, for - at the end of the day - it delivers the most efficient fuel consumption x seat x mile. It is in such high demand here that Diamond signed an agreement with Aeromot to assemble it under license in the state of Rio Grande do Sul.
The ranking of aircraft can vary depending on individual preferences and specific needs. The Tecnam P2006T and Diamond DA62 each have their strengths and weaknesses, making one more appealing to certain pilots than the other. It's essential to consider factors like mission, performance, and personal preferences when comparing aircraft. Out of curiosity, which factors or features do you value most in an aircraft?
this video is soooo God-awful. AI voiceover that can't pronounce words. No onscreen specs. Horrible background music. Useless information that has no bearing on performance. So sad that someone actually paid for this to be made.
I dont see any advantage for the tecnam, it is slow for a twin engine, the range is only 600 miles, useful payload with full tanks no bueno. Max operating altitude only 14000 feet. But with a single engine working it can not hold a good altitude, and climbing rates plunge. At the end that twin engine is underpower, and only represent a burden for the owner pocket( maintenence etc) . In my opinion the DA62 is the king in this category. Better in almost every single specs.
Got it! You're not impressed with the Tecnam and find the DA62 to be the real champion, especially in terms of fuel efficiency. Any specific experience or story that influenced your preference for the DA62?
@@AviationFederation the tecnam looks good,. And actually for the price is really a good player. But when you compare specs by specs, the DA62 is a superior plane. I know it is more expensive. But there are logical reasons behind it.

I love the P2006, but I would put it in 2nd place because of the speed, range, payload, and use of AVgas. The DA62 should be number 1, in my opinion
Agree with you a 100%. Da62 is a better option and deserve first spot for sure
Cost 3 times as much!
@@danielnofal Yes, it does and you get a lot more for that price.
@@fngonzo I agree, just washing comparing apples to oranges
Like the Technam. Thanks for the content . You have a good voice
Thanks for watching!
Excellent stuff
A stick like the Diamond, would be awesome in the Tecnam.

I did my instrument rating renewal on the P2006T back in 2015 in Brisbane, Australia, it is a nice aircraft to fly
DA62 just such a sexy aircraft

That’s interesting to know. Thanks for sharing.
# 3 Looks More cool
you say number one p2006 what is about p2012?
How does the #2 aircraft beat the socks off of the #1 Aircraft? Who made this list?

Pls don't forget about type of fuel.
What the hell? Where the Piaggio avanti Evo?
That's a different league my friend.👍👍🍷
Instead of 62 you should place 42.. all should by same seat number right?
❤️
The Florist…🌹
I think the Diamond 6PX was the most impressive

My impression is English is not the voiceover’s first language. Tecnam, Diamond
I'm not even sure the voice is human.
Or educated. Who uses gallons and pounds etc.
Yak 18t
i like the diamond da62 turboprop aircraft.
Is not turboprop …
Best twin : Piaggio P180. Fast. Efficient. Luxury. Comfort.
❤
Not to be mean but the voice over lady is saying ‘da’ instead of ‘the’. Why?
The "lady" is either a poor automated voice, or a person who does not really speak English.

Very poor narrator. I re-played several portions and could not understand what she said
She’s a robo voice designed for adverts.
