When you switch on auto-tracking the sensitivity option disappears. The problem is the auto-tracking seems to be too sensitive, which means it records almost constantly when motion-detect is on, even if there's no motion (e.g. pointing at a wall) which defeats the purpose of motion detect. D-link says there should be an update (to the mydlink app) at some point but disappointingly won't commit to a timeframe.
Mine successfully connect for the first. But after I accidentally plug it off, now it couldn't connect anymore to the wifi. Have you face the same problem?
Is it still can view live if I’m not subscribe to any plan? I mean I want to view live only thru cloud even if it’s not recorded to the cloud. Thanks once again 😊

Good video, I bought two of them, but can't get them connected, I get connection to it's WiFi (DCS-65001LH...) and after the QR scanning I get stuck in a loop where it repeats "Device use with mydlink) I press Connect and then that repeats again. On occasion, it seems to get past it, but then the MyDlink app crash. Anýone have an idea?
@@jayceooi thanks for replying, I have started a Dlink (not the MyDlink one) account to be able to create a support case. Another Dlink app didn't even find my serial no so maybe the apps need updates or something for the product.
Update: it turned out it didn't like my Netgear Network. I shared my mobile 4G as WiFi Access Point and then it worked. Next time I'm updating my home network I'll probably go for Ubiquiti managed network
Please don"t buy this piece of junk. Quality of dlink cameras have gone down the drain. Used the old DCS 5222L for years and it was great. Then bought this junk DCS-6501LH, took hours of attempts to set it up and finally it worked after so many hard resets. Now keeps disconnecting all the time (no issue with my other brand IP cameras). Took it to service centre and they cannot find fault. Im stuck with a camera which keeps disconnecting!

One time the camera went totally offline, causing me to have to reset the device from scratch. It takes WAY too long to load the live view on the app. The auto tracking feature sucks - it keeps moving to random positions even when there's nothing moving. The auto home feature sucks - it doesn't return to the position I set it to. I'm really disappointed. Waste of money.

I am unable to get it to record to SD card. Everytime I record, it is captured in the phone storage.
Put SD card in the IP cam. App will always record to internal storage. This is Android OS issue.

I am having problems recording using the SD card. I think they want me to subscribe to their cloud service.
