I've only been there once and that was a few years ago, when I noticed it was one of the Top 10 highest rated places in STL according to Yelp. I loved the nostalgic vibes (like 1930s/40s) but for whatever reason (maybe I thought it was expensive) I wasn't taken with the food, especially their shoestring fries. Ice cream was alright but I know they've had newer owners since then
This was my third visit here and I really had a good time. The food is a little pricey, but honestly not that much difference than anywhere else now (my sandwich cost less than a Big Mac does now). I will say the one of the times I was there I had a burger and fries and it was good, but nothing outstanding. Of course, I really like the atmosphere and that can go a long way with me
That place looks cool 😎 it had a real vintage look. Food looks good too 😋
It’s a fun place to visit. I love the atmosphere
