hi sir ,this machine i have get a one problem .its daimond stone is stuck in inside bore please tell me how its removed. i rotate the handweel stones the machine pogram shows the on display screen :"stone diametermiter has recived a stall error" a stall error means the motor as sent full power but did not move ..please tell how reamove the handwheel stones
The bores should be honed with a torque plate mounted to the cylinder block. That's the way we do it at Cummins. Keeps the bores round by simulating the torque applied when the cylinder head is installed.
I've worked on a block that was "rebuilt" by Cummins and it was bored to size and not honed on four of the six cylinders. This caused the engine to start using 2 gallons of oil a day after a few months of use. Maybe they forgot something when they were tightening the torque plate.
