I'll save you the trouble, it's $33.99 per volume (~10 hrs. each), ~$240 for all 7 volumes, or $20 a month for streaming. Maybe a little steep, but cheaper than college I guess.

This is the future of education and training of any subject even for the poorest thanks to you-tube. The best and most talented teachers can video lessons and any student in the World with a cheap old PC connected to the internet can learn almost anything from the best. Colleges and Universities could become obsolete. The teachers can distribute their lessons directly without needing a classroom and get rewarded via you tube. First learn English as it is the Worlds common business language and the World needs a common language.

I’m glad to know you charge for your service, however is there a degree or certificate you offer?? Also, I’m doing coursera now and paying 40$ a month. But the only reason is because all the courses I’m taking are courses that some colleges are now giving credit for. It sucks that no one cares if it’s not a degree, but it is what it is I suppose.

What the guy in this video does might be profitable (I have no way of knowing the numbers) but he’s doing it at the expense of his own reputation and it’s no wonder people shit on him for it.

The man has to eat. @235 USD will get you a ton of DVD courses on Electrical and Mechanical Engineering. This guy has the best teaching techniques. Even the fact his voice is not monotonous lends to the final outcome. For one, I don't want to fall asleep and therefore do. I don't have to try to understand broken English or Hindi either. Just ordered the DVDs. 70" Flat Screen, Recliner, Notepad, Soda, Remote... done.
Terry I don’t think op ever made the argument that the education wasn’t good quality but that he simply could not afford it. I know it might be hard for you to wrap your head around, but some people simply do not have that money.

Something akin to Skeptoid Media's plan offering a patreon like paid/donation position and realising them on a schedule archiving more advanced lessons for a time. This kind of access to knowledge from such a good teacher and for a pay what you can model could revolutionize some lives the way Skeptoid has. This course in particular could lead to a lot of tradesmen and women that I think would give back. After all, it takes a special kind of individual to educate themselves. Unfortunately I don't have the knowledge or business acumen necessary to even actually suggest such a distribution retooling and I suspect it would lead to an overall loss in profit is never presume anyone would shoulder for purely philanthropic purposes.

This sales tactic is the most heart wrenching clickbait shit i have ever experienced on youtube to date! I thought i found a "real teacher" a teacher that put education above american capitalism. I have always had a love for electronics and thought i found a damn good teacher that had the same passion for teaching as we do for learning. TH-cam provides the ability to monetize videos and with a little effort like live Q and A's, with demonstrations, this channel could have been huge with a great source of income. I don't know what to say. I guess when you have a person that seems this passionate about teaching and this good at it pull this kind of shit, This reinforces the apparent true meaning of american life. "Its all about profit, nothing else" Bet he voted for trump, what a shame! This is a real life example of a faulty circuit. No probe or oscilloscope needed!
If you can't afford the course, because your country's currency has lower value then the USD, it's sad, no question. I thought i found a "real teacher" a teacher that put education above american capitalism.
I have always had a love for electronics and thought i found a damn good teacher that had the same passion for teaching as we do for learning.
TH-cam provides the ability to monetize videos and with a little effort like live Q and A's, with demonstrations, this channel could have been huge with a great source of income.
I don't know what to say. I guess when you have a person that seems this passionate about teaching and this good at it pull this kind of shit,

But to the fortunate people, who forget that they are indeed fortunate, we are ready to give hundreds of dollars to Apple, Samsung, clothing, entertainment and restaurants. After two years the phone is broken, one week the movie/game is forgotten and replaced (except it's Factorio) and in the next morning after a cup of coffee the expensive food/beverage is in the toilet.
But you're not ready to pay for knowledge, for a possible future career, new passion or a ticket to a new world, where you can repair and build stuff?
You may be right for people who buy all this stuff you mentioned. I'm no one of them btw, except the dayly nessesitys of course, so that's not my point.
But i think those vids don't belong on a TH-cam channel "MIT OpenCourseWare", but rather on a web page of the author where people who want to pay for those vids can buy rhen if they arewilling to pay the price call.

If I would have $20 I'll give it for this course without thinking, but our currency is Turkish lira which is 9 times the dollar. As a Turkish student, it's really hard to spend that money on a course. (even if it's the best)
