Michael Porter Jr. (16 points, 13 rebounds) and Jamal Murray (14 points, 8 rebounds, 8 assists) added a combined 30 points for the Nuggets in the victory, while Jimmy Butler tallied 21 points for the Heat. After closing out this best-of-seven series, 4-1, the Nuggets have clinched the franchise’s first NBA title.

To me, Jokic's last line is already up there as one of the all-time great remarks after a Finals win, alongside KG's "anything's possible" scream to the heavens. It was hilarious but also incredibly insightful into the kind of person Nikola is. Even after JUST reaching the highest achievement, the guy remains incredibly grounded and matter-of-factly about it. It's the clearest indication that he genuinely doesn't care about the outside noise and hoopla that comes with his superstar status and simply aspires to do his best by his team and the game itself. A disposition totally unlike the way we've been conditioned to see great athletes, and it's actually kind of refreshing.
Congrats to Jokic and the rest of the Nuggets organization on winning the title. I can't help but feel that the NBA game is in incredibly good hands with the likes of Joker, Giannis, Tatum, Embiid, and others leading the way (not to mention still having all-time greats like LeBron and Steph playing at absurdly high levels). Quite the wild season this was!

He's easily top 10 right now but with how he's playing right now and how much time he has left, he can rival and possibly surpass the greatest.
