My favorite as well and it has been since the first time I heard it. I was a freshman at Purdue when this came out. Fond memories and this song is part of the soundtrack.
This song came out when i was in high school and every time i hear it, it feels like the first time. Nick's voice has never sounded so ethereal. Even in this live performance, it sounds like im listening to the cd track.
Iman S I know exactly what you mean. Thanks for the kind words and love towards Nick and 311. Most def no other band like them. I'm happy to be a forever dedicated fan
MrRandom311 wow and I thought I was the only one who had this song (among other 311 songs) looping through my mind all the time. I’m essentially always playing music inside my head and it helped out a lot once I became a musicians
I remember being a teen and tripping to this album (on a particular occasion) as well as sound system and the rest. Good times. Got me out of some bad places in my mind. My gf and her dumb friend were ruining my trip so I locked them out the room, cranked 311, closed my eyes and saw the most beautiful things. Made me feel like I was right there at a 311 concert lying in the grass except instead of people around me, there were just beautiful, colorfully confusing "souls" that danced, swayed and writhed to all the melodic vibrations and frequencies. I'll never forget that specific trip. Started bad but 311 saved me. At one point it looked like it was raining bumble bees and eventually actual peanuts. No pun intended.
Amazing how many awesome songs 311 has made over the years - so hard to pick a favorite, but this one is in the running, for sure. So pretty, especially the studio version (even though they're always great live), the acoustic guitar along with the soft vocals...just mesmerizing. This group is so.......underrated.
Tim's baby blue PRS is one of my favorite looking guitars of all time. If you play guitar, this song is so simple.. but these solos are some of the best he's ever written... ffs.
The audio quality on this is unreal!
This song is so god damn GOOD man
Maybe my favorite 311 song of all time. #9 on Transistor!
This and prisoner. That whole album is trippy af and I've loved it since it came out.
Mine too brotha! When I die this song will be played at my funeral.
yep, and ditto play this at my funeral

Best 311 song I've heard. Love the guitar solos and just airy sound of it all. Beautiful.

Let this song live on in history. Real music will always have replay value. 2023 my first time hearing this gem 👌🏼
The solo just captures everything. Amazing.
Yes it truly does
Thanks for uploading. I never tire of hearing this song. It's looping in the deepest, darkest recesses of my mind.

Much love. Still listening in 2021 and forever grateful.
Still got my physical copy of this show on CD! Loved how they did Eons here too.
omg this must have sounded amazing live. it's my favorite 311 song, and an orchestra makes it even more epic.
I'm with shells, chills through out the whole song

😂
1 of my favorite songs ever...and fuck yea Chad Sexton 👍👍👍👍
Is this show mixed and mastered somewhere?
Who's the guitarist??
Tim Mahoney
That solo hits deep.
My God, Chad bombed it. To busy with the bass, fills not flowing, open hats.....sad. I still love him though!
Anyone else see the dude with the beard right behind Nickin the video? That dude gets it, be that dude.
