    I have a serious problem with colors especially if they are pastel. Therefore I rarely if ever make any adjustments to the hue. I will use the vibrancy slider when necessary. What tools are available for someone who has a color blindness condition? Obviously I can see some very vibrant colors like Red, Blue, and Green, but if any of those colors get watered down I lose the ability to say what it is

    • @photosolutions2681
      @photosolutions2681  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      make sure you duplicated the layer. The original image is the first layer, unedited. The second layer gets the high-pass effect and then you change the layer style to vivid light.

    how to duplicate layer???

  • @elmafudd9703
    @elmafudd9703 ปีที่แล้ว

    Question to anyone who can spare the time and knowledge. When do we sharpen? At the end of work flow on the origonal image or at the end of work flow of the flattened copy of that image I.e. the tiff/jpeg we are sending to print. So this would be a duplicate of the origonal and after ICC profiles, print size, rendering intent, contrast and saturation adjustments and finally convert to profile. I know how to sharpen but its in when is the answer. Any advice most welcome as long as its constructive and not just conjecture. Photoshops like religion many opinions but not much truth in the gospel. Have a lovely day.

  • @jaywillingham4085
    @jaywillingham4085 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    So basically you clickbaited everyone with an image that you dont even use and then proceed to sharpen an image that isn't blurry to begin with.

    • @photosolutions2681
      @photosolutions2681  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      "clickbait" used negatively, in general, is so stupid. I am showing what I'm teaching with an image that captures attention. If I didn't capture your attention, then you wouldn't have even watched my video.
      Bad clickbait is when the thumbnail is only meant to attract viewers regardless of the content of the video.
      I showed a real-world scenario where I had a blurry image that could be fixed and I showed how to fix it. Thumbnails are small, the video is large. Showing an image that is slightly blurry wouldn't attract anyone to my video because it would be hard to see if the image is even blurry when the image is so small. The point of the thumbnail is to be able to see what the video is about even when the thumbnail is 100 pixels wide. That is on TH-cam production. Thumbnails are the same as commercials, billboards, or even advertisements. The goal isn't to give you the entire information, the goal is to attract people to want to learn more.
      I even said in my video that at a certain point, there is no fixing a blurry image. The Method I show is the best one I know of that clears up a blurry image that CAN be cleared up. Go ahead and try this method on more blurry images, it works, but the quality isn't perfect.
