  • In this week’s video, I show you how to design a banner style name sign using Adobe Illustrator and the Glowforge.
I recommend using 1/8” acrylic or plywood. My sample cut used 1/8” olive acrylic.

Hi! Love your tutorials! Do you have any or can you make one on how to design/line up the acrylic arch bar menus with the acrylic base/stand? For the life of me, I cannot get them to line up correctly! So frustrating! I have one of the gage calculators too!

Another great tutorial! Did you mention where you got your Olive acrylic? If so, I missed it and didn’t see a link in your description. Also I just have what may be an odd comment….I noticed that you had 49 views but only two likes. I am one of those people who at times forget to hit the like button. Hopefully I remember at some point and go back and hit it or at end of video the TH-camr reminds me and I get it done. So I just wanted to assure you that your tutorials are loved and appreciated!

I'm so happy to hear that, thank you! And I'm not actually sure where I got this acrylic--it was the only random purchase I've made :) Houston Acrylic has a matte olive green that I'd order next time, since the shininess of this one was kind of annoying for the project.
