  • Learn how to install Microsoft Windows Server 2022 Core Edition. This is a lightweight version of Windows Server which has as limited graphical user interface and is locally using the command line and PowerShell, or remotely using tools such as Windows Admin Center, Server Manager, MMC snapins, or Remote Server Administration Tools (RSAT). In this example, I go through the installation wizard, covering the setup options, and leave you with a clean installation once we reach the SConfig application, ready for you to add your required features and start deploying services.

I think MCSA has been retired now by Microsoft. I don't think I can create guides which cover everything, but, I'm going to try and cover a lot.

For a VM, would you assign the same specs as the Pfsense VM you made in another video?

Also would this be Gen 1 or 2?

For a Windows Server, I would say 2x vCPU and 4GB RAM as minimum, and Gen2.
pfSense can run using really low resources if it's not doing much.
