I’m an evening shower guy. I worked nights for 40 years and it’s more natural for me to shower after dinner. It’s okay to have down days. Sometimes you just gotta unplug the clock. I’ve had several days since my OHS back in April where I ask The Lord: Why me Lord? Did someone know I had such a bad heart problem when I was a kid? And the Lord tells me: It can always be worse, but there’s a reward for you in Heaven where there’s many Mansions. There will be no tears or pain, but I’ll fight like heck until that day. I always tell friends & my wife that I came into this world naked, kicking, & screaming, and I’ll probably go out that way. Don’t give up the fight Jim. You’re a good man.

Brother I'm sorry you're having s down day. We all have them but even knowing that doesn't mean it get easier. We are walking miracles and even in my bad day I know that God has a plan for me and he isn't finished with us. Just know through your good or bad days we live you and need your words. Stay stronger my brother.

Hi Jim, I hope you feel better. Send my prayers 🙏 ❤. We all have those days. For me cold quiet, dark room works perfectly.
I'm looking forward for an update

Thank you. Just the occasional down day. Several challenges hit at once with the add stress of planning my daughter’s wedding. It’s a busy time. Adding the stress of having lost several in the transplant community as of late sometimes I just have to decompress. I like to try to share every facet of transplant life so others may benefit. Thank you for your continuous encouragement.

Jim I understand having down days. I have no reason to be depressed. Depression runs in my family. I was gifted an amazing gift! However I also take on others personal situations, feeling etc… even some TV shows stay with me for days on end. I will pray that God will ease your burdens. Thank you so so much for all you do!❤️

Exactly I take on the struggles of others voluntarily and even know that sometimes it’s still painful. Thank you for all your help

Brother Jim, you are such a treasure. There may come a time when you will need to step away and have a “regeneration Sabbatical”. I was in emergency response for years and it was often driven into us that we can’t take care of others if we don’t take care of ourselves first. Keep on keeping on but know when to rest your mind and body. Thanks for all you do for humanity. Love you brother.

Thank you so much Tom. Sorry for the late response. It’s a busy time of year with the kiddos heading back to school but I’m getting some much needed rest.

GOD is Great. As humans are physical matter. We will see rough passages. But luckily we have a Spirit of Love that controls our feet, walked that path before us and gives us the light at the end of the tunnel. God bless you Jim and every single one of us. In the name of Jesus Christ.
