For those who like information about Dimas' songs: The story behind this song is very interesting: The band that accompanies Dimash is the same one that composed the song, without the singer who died after a heart attack! The band is also from Kazakhstan and this performance by Dimash revitalized the song. In addition, the final part he added, with an oriental technique. The song was originally performed in 1998 and the band's name is A'Studio (Russian-based Kazakhstani pop music group, "Alma-Ata Studio", city of Almaty). This is the festival "New Wave" in Sochi (Russia). There was a competition of young performers and concerts of Russian artists. Dimash acted as a guest at the jubilee concert of the Kazakh group "A-studio". Baigali Serkebaev - the author of the song - plays the piano here. It was a phenomenal performance! Superb low notes at the beginning, unreal high notes at the end. And again the oriental tones in the song! Melismа in the finale together with the last "Let" - 23 seconds! Dimash used kazakh singing technique. You can hear it from the Turan group. Saha people ( Russia) uses this technique too.

No, that isn't a true. Igor invited Dimash to a New Wave 2018 (the video is from NW 2018). And Lara had nothing to do between the both. Dimash dreamed as a child to sing the songs of Igor and Igor was also interested in Dimash's talent. For a first time they met each other somewhere as the both invited guests. She can't sing bass, baritone, tenor, counter tenor, soprano and alto soprano all by herself like Dimash can. Nor can she sing rock, pop, jazz, rap, opera, r&b....etc.....she can at the most sing 2 or maybe 3 of these......whereas Dimash can practically nearly sing all of them. Nor can she do INSTANT/IMMEDIATE switches between extreme high notes (soprano/aria) to extreme low bass/baritone notes and octaves.....which Dimash can.

I remember reading that Lara Fabian contacted him after he did a cover of one of her songs, and she basically introduced him to Igor whom she had collaborated with many times in the past in her career.
No, that isn't a true. Igor invited Dimash to a New Wave 2018 (the video is from NW 2018). And Lara had nothing to do between the both. Dimash dreamed as a child to sing the songs of Igor and Igor was also interested in Dimash's talent. For a first time they met each other somewhere as the both invited guests. The information is from the interview from them in Russian.

@@theresag1969 No one is disputing her good voice and singing but she is not the greatest nor is she the best. Extremely good no doubt. She can't sing bass, baritone, tenor, counter tenor, soprano and alto soprano all by herself like Dimash can. Nor can she sing rock, pop, jazz, rap, opera, r&b....etc.....she can at the most sing 2 or maybe 3 of these......whereas Dimash can practically nearly sing all of them. Nor can she do INSTANT/IMMEDIATE switches between extreme high notes (soprano/aria) to extreme low bass/baritone notes and octaves.....which Dimash can.
This is a demonstration of techniques, some really subtle, with hell of a stage presence. I`ve got speechless the first time I listened (subs on) Thanks!
