I am 53 years old sound engineer, very much into music and have listened to thousands of artists since a very long time. Never came across anyone close to this guy. Never. Incredible skills, unbelievable talent.
My theory is that Dimash was born with an amount of talent however he works hard as if he were born with none...that's what his teachers always say about Dimash...he is a hard worker and a perfectionist add to the equation that he has an AP absolute pitch and huge talent. That makes him look like an alien.
This is Dimash at his most playful - love it. He takes us to his planet and back, stunned. Oh I’m so excited for you on your Dimash journey. 👍👍👍👍👍👍

Yes, Dimash is for real! His confirmed range is C2-D8. Yes, D8! He's 25 now and has been classically trained since he was 5. There is so much that you need to watch now!! One of his newest is "love is like a dream". You get a real good sense of his range from lows to high on that one. Autumn strong is another great one!

In all the songs Dimash is important not only the performance, but also the meaning. A song is perceived completely differently if you know the meaning of the song.
"Only I know, how the winds

This song was originally sung by Russian singer Vitas who is known for his high notes. We will never hear Dimash sing this again because Vitas blocked Dimash from singing it after this performance. (Dimash went higher.)
What?! That is a shame..!! Had no idea that an artist would be so jealous and negative.. but of course, his song and his copyright. It happens among musicians, but it's a pity all the same.

Vitas cannot hit does notes anymore thats why he does not sing that song live anymore, there was a leaked video a couple years ago of him preparing for a show and that part was playback.
yeah, Vitas does one key change. Dimash did 3. It's a shame because he totally owns the song, and has a much fuller voice in those insanely high parts.
@@NarnianLady copyright only keeps artists from stealing the song, lyrics, or instrumentals and not giving credit to the original artist, which was why it was a deal made between dimash and vitas personally and isn't technically legally binding.

Now for my favorite male and female ballad vocalists in the WORLD.
They are from Korea and when you hear these love song by them you will be transported to the celestial realm. It’s live performances from concerts and I’ve listen to these perrformers over 10 times and each time I’m moved to my depths and am speechless. If you still have a beating heart and soul you will become ( like millions of others worldwide ) a rabid fan of both and want to hear more from them, please do. And there’s plenty more to discover. By the way Park Hyo Shin is a living legend in Korea and when he announces an upcoming concert, it is SOlD OUT in less than 15 minutes ( 30,000 avid fans) He has the most emotionally impactful purist voice in the world and the song I am going to reveal is a love song from his Happy concert titled “ it’s you” ( sung in Korean with English subtitles so you will be able to follow). His vocal range is celestial. It’s 4 minuets of bliss. Please youtube “Park Hyo Shin it’s you” ( and be sure to click the 4 minute one with [ Eng Sub] and NOT the MV ( Music Video).
You will thank me for helping you discover him. ( don’t get me wrong Dimash is my favorite pop-op vocalist but when you hear Park Hyo shin sing you will admit when it comes to heartwarming ballads, Park Hyo Shin is the BOMB!!!

Now my co/favorite favorite female ballad vocalist in the world (My favorite female vocalist was Morissette.).

( a live concert performance click first one 5:57 minutes) You will hear a female vocalist from Korea who will blow your mind to kingdom come and touch your heart to your core. 5 octave vocal range and she climbs and climbs and she can even go higher.
It’s in Korean but it doesn’t matter if you don’t understand a word she is singing. You will FEEL that the musical Archangel just descended from the celestial realm of heaven to open your heart.
You will want to hear more and there are over 10 more by her that will keep your mind speechless and your heart open.
She’s not that well known around the world YET.

I was in his NY concert was Amazing.. I will not get tired of hearing this young man with that wonderful gift, I cannot believe that a single human being has so much in himself, passion, emotion, beautiful personality, a great heart, and a pure and unique technique. Love it!
Also, a great coincidence and pleasant surprise happened to me Dec 9, in New York, day before the concert. When I was about to enter the NY library I saw Dimash's parents who were also entering, Dimash's younger brother was our translator ... that was a nice meeting..I had some photos with them ....❤❤❤❤

The last man shown is his father who showed up without Dimash knowing he was going to be there, his father and mother both sing and his grandmother who watched him while he was a baby and growing up was also an opera singing and he has taken music from age 3 up to the present. His father is in the music business and I believe teaching the stage presence and appeal of performance, whatever that technical part is of stage presence. You can see Dimash presence himself well during the songs.

This is a song composed and originally sung by Vitas, a Russian singer who also has a wide vocal range like Dimash. In this performance, Dimash went beyond Vitas. This was 2 years ago. Since then, Dimash has further developed, his bass/baritone has gotten deeper and darker and, with his partnership with the multi-awarded Russian composer, Igor Krutoy, has polished his performances and made them more sophisticated. You have a long way to go.

Hey, Sam--as Marina Dewill commented below, you'll see why the Kazakh Opera House all but pleaded with him to join their opera company, when he was still studying at their national musical institute, if you'll use her link to his Arnau concert (Dimash 48's fancam video) and the song "Ogni Pietra" (written especially for him by iconic Russian composer, Igor Krutoy, with whom he's been collaborating for almost a year, now). Krutoy and Dimash arranged the song so that it challenges Dimash to cover 5 octaves of his 6 octave range, but he performs the whole cantata in the "bel canto" style (deep baritone on up to soprano [E6, I think])! He is at the height of his vocal powers in this impossible-for-a-"human", epic anthem! This will leave you reaching for a bottle of something stronger than tea or coffee, laddie!

Thanks for your very nice and professional reactions on this wonderful singer Dimash. He is also a very good person - wise, humble, friendly and sweet, respecting the older ones and loving children, and he often thanks to people and expresses his gratitude even in cases he do not have to do this. He often says to people/the audience that he loves them. He also says (for example) that a man must not allow his success to spoil his character, and many other wise things one would not expect from a person of his age. /// I also want to thank you for not trying to imitate Dimash's high notes; some reactors (even coaches) try to do that and not having Dimash's vocal cords they tear my ears. :-)

Good as Opera 2 is, it pales in comparison to Ogni Pietra. He just won't stop growing! Honestly, I admire your self discipline. When I discovered him I could barely sleep for hunting down youtube videos with him in it.

I guess I’m the one on the hunt now 😂 I found him about four days ago and I can’t get enough honestly.
