Animal Rescue Corps working with the Humphreys County Sheriff's Office, seized twelve dogs from the property of a suspected dog fighting operation in Isola, MS.

It freaking infuriates me when people say it's the breed that's the problem. Love every single one of them.
a life of hell, pain, & mistreatment.....they were wiggle butt, wagging, hugging & kissing.....
The only breed thats the problem is the sick human race who gets pleasure from abusing animals. I hope the culprits get chained up and left to die
It´s the biped on the other end of the leash that decides to make an angel or a Devil out of a dog of any breed . That means you take a lot of responsibility to be a dad or a mum of an animal

Thank you for saving them. Some of the dogs looked bright and hopeful at the end, but others had really sad eyes. I hope they begin to feel secure and loved soon.

We have a few dogs at our shelter right now that were in this fighting operation! The cute brown smiling one we named Magnolia and she got adopted this weekend!
We still have the white speckled one and the short stocky brown one. We named the white one John Marshal and the other Ben Bushby. :)
Just how do you rehome dogs that have been selectively bred to kill other dogs ? Their dog killing instinct is a part of their genetics, not just "skin deep" or just a matter of their training.

At 2:50, is where I couldn't keep the tears in. To lock a dog inside of a hot metal box in the scorching sun.. what monster does that? And to see the dog's gratitude and affection, brought tears of joy to my eyes. Thank you for volunteering and for caring for these voiceless animals. There should be stricter animal laws all over the world, doing this should get you in jail and restricted from ever being near an animal ever again.
My brother had a new girlfriend not too long ago and she told him once "It's the me or the dog" ... He told her, "look, when you think about it, just throw your girlfriend and your dog in the trunk of the car and after a few hours open it and see who is happy to see you... I'll keep my dog goodbye" ....
the same monsters that make them brutalize each other....
In a world where animals are being shot, slaughtered, decimated, tortured at an alarming rate, a video like this that depicts what humans are capable of helps me maintain my sanity and belief in good.

Nothing makes me cry faster and harder than seeing the conditions these babies are in when involved with dog fighting, and to see every single tail wagging instantly, just longing for the attention, so gratefully! You and your crew are nothing short of hero's and miracle workers!! To see that poor bowl legged mama,and the scars on those babies ears are more than heartbreaking, but their smiles, knowing they're safe now, there's just no words

I'm not a religious person but God bless anybody who makes the sacrifice in their lives to saves the helpless. Especially dogs, they have no voice or opinion and it's up to us to fight for them. I really how they found the person running that ring. I can't stand people who abuse animals.

beautifully done. the character of a society is reflected in the way we treat (or mistreat) our animals. we have a long way to go. i am fortunate to have a rescued pitbull. i would recommend it for anyone who has room for love in their life.

Penalties for those training the dogs, organising the fights and watching the fights should be massive, with huge fines and many years in prison, spent chained to the cell walls.

The only reason these dogs fight is because they are so loyal and love so much they will do what they are instructed to do. I hope someone chains the dog fight humans by large heavy chains to tiny wooden houses in the heat and the mud and leave them there! Thank you Rescue Corps for your caring an humanity.

As an owner of 5 dogs, I like to consider myself an advovate...I do believe that these dogs did not receive the love that they should, and all of the dogs featured in this video look loving and in need of a good family. BUT...To me it looks like none of them have been involved in dog-fighting. Opinions?
mike j Mike, there was a sparing ring on the site, there were break-sticks, there were the nooses that the dogs have to jump, grab and hang from, and there were the heavy logging chains used to create neck and upper body strength that ultimately leads to the condition where their legs bow - "chain broke". Have all of these dogs been fought, we will never know, but there was plenty of indications of fighting and conditioning to fight.
