When someone tells Kohli has failed more in the last 5 years and he needs to dropped as well, no he's a great player he's in a different leageue he can't be dropped. Let's see what happens next in SCG.
Along with mindset problem, he's hand-eye coordination has seen a dip. That is also the problem for Rohit. You see in 2018, where he takes longer strides and still used to poke at deliveries bowled at 5th or 6th stump. That time he was quicker in judgement but now he's reflexes are gone. He's much slower while timing the ball.
See guys, I really do not understand this concept of weakening of reflexes and movement in late 30s. After all, guys like Rohit and Virat are just 36-37 years of age. Yes, it's a later age for sports, but it is still not as bad as critics are making it look. You go to the IPL, you can see that if a CSK spinner is on, MSD will still knock the bails off at the age of 42-43 just as fast as he did in his 20s. An age of 45-50 is reasonable for this statement, but not late 30s. Plus, if there is a player at the international level, he certainly HAS TO move. That is not a choice given to the player. So if any player is playing at that level, he certainly has the reflexes and movement required. By the way, Virat and Rohit are there in the slips as well, again proving my point.
in reflexes deteriorating in batting it mainly comes down to the eye most people cant avoid it to make up for it they make changes to their movement at crease or stance but that brings a whole lot of problems as you are saying about slips look at raina he is still so fine at some exibition games but he certainly cant bat at int level same for dhoni maybe he can slog few ball but first of all if he batted long enough his knees would give up you see this in other sports too like look at carmelo in his later years or pique and ramos or casemiro
@@Soumik_Mondal_fullstack_dev i get what you say, but guys like Rohit and Virat have not even crossed 40, so "reflexes deteriorating" is not a correct point to make. this has been started by haters, so that they can make the players retire. when you look at it from a neutral point of view, you get that this fact is false, at LEAST before the age of 40

Freeze frame at 13:25 and at 12:20 the difference is the foot is going down the wicket as against at the pitch of the ball forcing him to cover the line of the ball with his hands. Plays away from his body and nicks it. Simple!
It's very simple. Virat Kohli can't just leave those balls, he doesn't have scoring strokemaking bar drives, and nowadays when the ball pitches inside or outside off the seamy pitches, yeah he can't even predict it.
Indian cricket should prioritize developing the next generation of players through our strong domestic structure. With tournaments like Ranji Trophy, Vijay Hazare, and Syed Mushtaq Ali, we have a rich talent pool ready to be nurtured. Focusing on these players not only ensures long-term sustainability for the national team but also builds depth, enabling India to remain competitive globally. Wasting time and resources on players like Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma, who have accumulated huge wealth and may not be as invested in performances as they once were, is irresponsible. Their continued selection, despite poor performances, holds back emerging talent who could contribute more to the team's future success. Ashwin, on the other hand, showed great maturity by deciding to retire, making way for fresh talent to step up. His decision was commendable and should be a model for others, as it creates space for the next generation of cricketers. By investing in grassroots cricket and promoting young talent, we can ensure a brighter future for Indian cricket and maintain our legacy.
Who thought joe root gonna be the ultimate boss in test cricket and near to break the great sachin record. I wish he break as their will be history in making which we lived.
Unfortunately, no. The superstar culture that is prevalent in India will ensure he keeps playing for another 2 years at least. Rohit Sharma alone will take the fall.
He made a lot of runs in IPL 2024 on very flat pitches, since then Kohli's batting form has been inconsistent in all formats, 14:08 The attacking nature towards the ball must have been adapted during the IPL when he scored runs so fast. There is a chance that IPL did change his playing style. He got the orange cap as well.
Such long 1/2 step trigger movement is for T20 cricket NOT for test, such trigger movements prepares u to hit 4/6, in test u dont that. . In test u need calm your whole body & only focus on Ball & Hand. Only then u can leave balls. U get to know your stumps only if stay in 1 place for long time. I think it's going to be end of road for him but he has atleast 1 year for sure , if he pulls off then he is going to play till 40. Rohit sharma deserve to retire from all formats , don't consider him for odi as their are many capable youngsters warming benches for him eg - samson , jaiswal , gill , kisan.
Kohli and Rohit should give retirement. They are not heroes. Pujara and Rahane were ruled out of the team even when they had better performances than these 2. Second Siraj and Pant should be dropped from the team and ask them to play domestic. Otherwise these players think their spot is fix and don't play well
Have u seen Khuwaja, Konstash, Labuschagne, Head, Cummins doing any TRIGGER movements?. NO. trigger movements is for t20 cricket, it prepares your body to Hit hard, but test cricket is all about Leaving the balls.Rohit is also doing the same mistake.
Chokli finally getting the criticism he warrants! Not World Class for the last 4 years. Maybe India should play 5 test series against Pakistan to bring his form back 😂😂
I think Virat is not yet over. His patience to not flirt with outside off deliveries looks definitely over. Had he shown that patience I find it hard for Aussies or any other team to get him LBW or bowled when they change their plans and bowl straight to him. It's in his advantage. But he is not making them change their line from outside off to straight and that's the problem. No fitness or energy issues and no other technical flaw. It's just to show patience and not play cover drive until he gets settled. If he is dropped that will be the first legendary player to be dropped not for technical flaws creeping in due to age or something but just one flaw of getting out caught behind or in slips.
Whether he is over or not depends on Virat himself. If he can figure out and implement effective changes to his game then he could rebound. Smith seems to have turned it around.
@@913egok smith has worked so hard to get it back, for case of Virat he had started with 3 triggered movement on the front foot, it may cost us his career now. Its over if he doesn't back his old technique (2018)

It's not an issue since he is favoured from all sides in terms of the potential he brings to the team and opponents, his brand value and his presence that crowd needed to get entertained in stadiums. These so called analysts are hypocrites who project themselves as they are concerned about indian cricket more than their family, not talking about the facts. He is invincible in cricket for now. @@bharathikannan5952 that's absolutely true. But the fact is he has been playing more white ball cricket these days back to back which is why he is tending to attack the bowlers a lot more than trusting his defence. There are various factors for him to do so. The change in white ball game where he needs to improve his strike rate, since he has weakness in spin he wants to go hard on pacers, an ego thing that provoke him to dominate the fast bowlers since he was been the best batsman for pacers until this bgt series. If he want to prolong his career, he should stop working on T20 kind of innings as he is just playing ipl. He should completey focus on becoming more compact player rather than attacking the bowlers which he can do later if he scores runs again

Then claiming Gill failed and Rohit too failed he should be dropped. When someone tells Kohli has failed more in the last 5 years and he needs to dropped as well, no he's a great player he's in a different leageue he can't be dropped.
Let's see what happens next in SCG.
They will say kohli got mad when he edged the ball this time in England series he will make 500 runs come back 😂
He can workout few shots on backfoot to use the pace and minimise the front foot shots on off stump.
He was done in 2021 itself
I think Virat has that three point contact trigger movement from a long time now
Along with mindset problem, he's hand-eye coordination has seen a dip.
By the way, Virat and Rohit are there in the slips as well, again proving my point.
in reflexes deteriorating in batting it mainly comes down to the eye most people cant avoid it to make up for it they make changes to their movement at crease or stance but that brings a whole lot of problems
as you are saying about slips look at raina he is still so fine at some exibition games but he certainly cant bat at int level same for dhoni maybe he can slog few ball but first of all if he batted long enough his knees would give up
you see this in other sports too like look at carmelo in his later years or pique and ramos or casemiro
@@Soumik_Mondal_fullstack_dev i get what you say, but guys like Rohit and Virat have not even crossed 40, so "reflexes deteriorating" is not a correct point to make. this has been started by haters, so that they can make the players retire. when you look at it from a neutral point of view, you get that this fact is false, at LEAST before the age of 40
@@VelocityViper-f7l do you think they should play more aren't they tarnishing their legacy
There was a point where I thought Virat was gonna avg above 50 in test and solidify his legacy as the 2nd greatest batsman for Ind but now I have changed that thought
I think his career is parallel of Punter
As at their peak nobody could touch them but they played a bit too long so their avg dipped
And test is the hardest format of the game
And yeah fuck them blind haters don't take this opinion seriously make your standards higher regarding to taking opinions
@@VelocityViper-f7l I somewhat agree with you because I remember the time when Sachin sir used to play so well even at 37-38 years old age , obviously he is much more dedicated to this game than any other cricketer. And I think this shows that it all depends on your hunger and patience.
This May sound foolish but this is just my perspective
@@VelocityViper-f7lit also depends upon eye vision which is most important thing for reflex nd we r also seeing both rohit nd kohli r bit slow in fielding nd dropping some catches which is also becoz of age factor nd u can say sachin was the icc player of the year when was 37 but reflex different from person to person hand eye coordination is the most important thing for a batsman nd both kohli nd rohit not only struggling is Australia pitches they also struggled in home test series if they want to give comeback then they should spend their free time by playing domestic matches which was done by sachin even at the age of 39-40 but here rohit nd kohli spending most of their time only with their family... If they don't respect cricket then cricket don't respect them...
Freeze frame at 13:25 and at 12:20 the difference is the foot is going down the wicket as against at the pitch of the ball forcing him to cover the line of the ball with his hands. Plays away from his body and nicks it. Simple!
You will further see his head is completely off position as he is following the ball with his hands but his foot is not going.
I think Kohli has 1 more golden run left in him. As it turned out the record of 100 100s is indeed never gonna be broken
Kohli should be dropped and asked to score runs in domestic cricket to get a chance to play for India again
great analysis brother
First❤❤❤
Who thought joe root gonna be the ultimate boss in test cricket and near to break the great sachin record.
I wish he break as their will be history in making which we lived.
Unfortunately, no. The superstar culture that is prevalent in India will ensure he keeps playing for another 2 years at least.
Rohit Sharma alone will take the fall.
Kholi need to play curry goat cricket
Him and David Warner are both snipers they should be a couple something in common
No place for complacency in Highest level of Sports .
Making this video after his every failure wouldn't change anything
He made a lot of runs in IPL 2024 on very flat pitches, since then Kohli's batting form has been inconsistent in all formats, 14:08 The attacking nature towards the ball must have been adapted during the IPL when he scored runs so fast. There is a chance that IPL did change his playing style. He got the orange cap as well.
11.09 not sure the percentages are correct with what u tell in next frame ? They are not matching
it is measured wrt to the prev one that is 38-34=4, now 4/34 *100 that is the percentage
@@rahulkarmakar-tt7zl He is not supposed to calculate in that way.
What happened to PRAATIBH 😢 , We miss him and his cute smile !!

he's gone for personal reasons, probably he will be back after like 7-10 days
Shut up gay
Shut up gayey
Such long 1/2 step trigger movement is for T20 cricket NOT for test, such trigger movements prepares u to hit 4/6, in test u dont that. . In test u need calm your whole body & only focus on Ball & Hand. Only then u can leave balls. U get to know your stumps only if stay in 1 place for long time. Rohit sharma is also doing the same mistakes
Virat Kohli is playing for ego now
He wants only attention
Over aggression
Sledging
Shouting
When smith takes 100 virat goes and congrats him during his celebration
To take attention to himself
Attitude 100 performance 0
Even we are able to analyse what is the mistake. Can't batting coaches do this obviously they know more than us they have better experience yet they are not able to fix this then what is their purpose they should leave then.
The batting coach is an idiot if our team gets getting out below 150
@@sahilthe2009 i think acc. Him batting practice only means throwing the ball . Atleast GG should analyse and correct them. According to me there is nothing wrong in the players, what is wrong is the way they do practice.
#changebattingcoach
@@sahilthe2009 i think aakash chopra could be a better coach he knows weakness of every player
2018 Eng vs 2021 Eng (Wobble ball)
This is his mental problem now. He thinks he can middle every ball, but bowlers are also great, you have to respect that and leave those balls.
Don't know about VK but tbh , in that same age sachin scored 1500+ run in test with 68 average.
Bro i hope kholi watches this
Kohli and Rohit should give retirement.
Nope
Who is better than Kohli?
Chokli finally getting the criticism he warrants! Not World Class for the last 4 years. Maybe India should play 5 test series against Pakistan to bring his form back 😂😂
Rohit Sharma test player nahin hai astep karo pura test career mein 12 100 marega
why not? - just remove him - he is nobudy against game of cricket - new players are wating - get rid of him
Simple solution is to drop him and experiment in ranji 😅
Off topic ..but omg are they even playing in a pitch 05:40 …..???😂😂😂
He's done....we have to look into future, he has no future
HI JB, are you still up for a thumbnail designer? i dm'd you guys but still waiting for a reply
He has lost his patience.. nothing else as he's not so much depend on hand-eye coordination too much .
But there are many talanted players are in the line
This is literally why players get dropped. It forces them to work in their game. Going back to Ranji trophy and having to face every pace bowler hanging the ball way outside off is what he needs. Anything to tame that ego.
All i feel is apathy
Zimrat Dogli deserve this downfall for trying to sabotage Rohit Sharma 😊

just balls❤❤
Quite a lot of issues for a so called 'greatest ever'
Do this much chance can get rahane poojara or any others?? 😅😅
On Friday Kohli will make a hundred. Then he will wake up and go to the SCG and make a 5.
Just answering by seeing the thumbnail. He is not. This same thing I have seen from this so called cricket analysts 2 years back. He has been in worst form than now in 2022 where he was pressurized to be dropped from T20 cricket since his worst stats. But he came backs trong and ruled 2023. It showed he is undone but just needed to be free. He dominated T20 2022, ipl2023, wc 2023, ipl 2024. Now people saying he is done in test cricket. But he can come back strong. I feel that there is desperation from virat anti fans as they are insecure that he can come back strong again and get throned back in his cricketing world. No one can even question him until he himself want to leave cricket. So all these stuff these guys are talking is bullshit. We can see him in ict till 2028 olympics as it was set bcz of him. By the way happy new year
He gave comeback whenever he was criticized in white ball format but since 2020 people criticizing him in red ball format it's been 4-5 years still he hasn't given any comeback that's the reason now everyone starts to criticizing him
@@bharathikannan5952 that's absolutely true.
All arrogance and ego. He refuses to stop playing the exact same shots because he just can’t accept that a strength can also be a weakness. Every other great of the game has had the humility to completely stop playing certain shots, tinker with their game, reinvent their game. Same reason he hasn’t stopped being an absolute knobhead on the field. He’s embarrassingly shoulder bumping a kid half his age undue to ego. Bruised egos swell. As he declines that urge to prove he can still hit a floater on 8th stump for 4 also grows. It’s pathetic but a joy to watch the mighty fall when they’re so arrogant.
Take him away from RCB also....😂
As you get old you start lossing reaction time
You need to improve your technique old technique would not work because of decreasing reaction time ( his hand eye conditions getting worse day by day too)
i want rohit & virat to get out for 0 in both innings this will kill them & prove the talk with in selectors
Same mistake today

With all due respect, the man has clearly lost his eyes hence, getting out to his bread & butter shots, coupled with his ego is blinding him to the obvious
