This is amazing seeing the two GMs talk about their ideas/strategies at the same time. The fact that they both realize what is going on from their opponent just by the placement and timing of pieces is awesome. By the way that was pretty dirty flag... at the end... lol!

It's a competitive speed chess event, so flagging isn't a problem. I get that in the second game. You're trying to win the event after all. But saying he should have won the first game and that's what makes the flagging fine is wild. He lost the first game and won the second on time. That's fine. Practically every person commenting let alone every GM has won 1000 games on time where they were equal or losing. You don't need to make up a justification for it. It's crazy how he can't take a loss or close win even though he comes out ahead 90% of the time. It's like a millionaire making excuses about the one time he lost money.

I also do not consider myself a "slow" person. Rules are made by us, as are more modern ideas which better conform to evolution. Everything starts with an idea.

(separate both audio streams for future adjustments purposes) this way we can also chose which side to mute if need be and visa versa ... this IS possible when using audio settings of the computer or video player (after you downloaded this video) correctly.

I don't know if Eric has any desire to be a world-class player, but he has proven time and time again that he's already almost on par with Super GMs. He seems to be lacking a bit in speed and theoretical knowledge, but he always gets these great positions against guys like Nakamura and Firouzja. I would put Naroditsky in the same boat too. (Then again, both Eric and Naroditsky are 2600s; maybe that's just how 2600s are).

One technical note though, wouldn't it be better to route Eric into one audio channel and Hikaru into the other? Also, normalize the volume, because Hikaru's track is far quieter.
I'm pretty sure they intentionally lowered hikarus volume because this is the chessbrah channel after all. He's talking all the time, so the hikaru commentary would overshadow Eric if they were the same volume.
