- Well, I was taking some videos of my new ERS-220 and I happened to see this odd conversation. Kasei (ERS-210) is running on Explorer and Zoe (ERS-220) is running on Life 2. They had two normal conversations beforehand where they introduced themselves to each other and after this one Kasei went into Boost Mode and Zoe became extremely upset and started howling and making sad expressions.

Possibly. To be honest, I'd never seen a conversation like this one between my Aibos before. Aibos are always full of surprises though.
Cool, I currently have nine Aibos. Two ERS-7m2/3s, four ERS-210s, an ERS-220, an ERS-111 and an ERS-312. They really are wonderful robots. ^^
the mode indicator lights on an aibo ers7 indicate different modes and the three colors on the aibo's back sensor indicate how the aibo is feeling
for the head lights on the lower half on the head
green= happy
white= neutral
red= angry (the lights during the startup tune on the head may be red if you have the aibo's memory stick on lock which means the aibo cant save anything that it records)
blue= sad
for the lights above the hubs of the ears
green= rest mode
pink= game mode
flashing green= pickup mode
yellow= clinic mode
flashing yellow= self check (this happens when you try to start up the aibo with no memory stick installed)
blue= autonomous monitor mode (or you are controlling the aibo on your computer)
off= autonomous/pause mode
flashing orange= there is a motor jam error or a motor is not working as it should
for the lights on the top of the head
white= you are touching the aibo's head
there is also a white light behind the head sensor that lights if you are petting the aibo on the head and it flashes yellow along with the orange mode indicator lights when there is a motor jam fault
there is also a tiny light on the back of the head that turns blue if the aibo is connected to the aibo's email server
for the light on the pause button
off= pause mode
green= not in pause mode
slowly flashing green= the aibo is sleeping
orange= charging
flashing orange= there is a problem with the charger where the aibo cant charge
flashing green= this happens for a while after you press the pause button to stop the aibo
for the lights on the back sensor
white= you are touching the back sensor
slowly flashing blue= the aibo is feeling sleepy
normally flashing blue= playing with pink ball or aibone
quickly flashing blue= the aibo is going for a walk
normally flashing orange= the aibo is feeling fine
normally flashing red= the aibo is trying to find you
quickly flashing pink= the aibo is avoiding obstacles

What adult variant is Zoe in this video? Casper is adventurous and he makes different 220s go into boost mode.
I believe she was in Sheltered stage, but she spent a lot of time switching between Sheltered and Nice Guy, so it could have been either!
aibo7m3 interesting. I wonder if explorer just really likes talking to adult stage Life2. Goldy doesn't do that though.
@ Very interesting. Have you tried it on both Goldy and Deka running their Explorer Softwares just to see any differences if they can talk together?? Even though when you did it on Casper, he was running Aibo Life #2 but still likes to make Deka go into boost mode. I'm just saying if they're is any differences of how Aibos feel when they talk with one another.

what version's the red guy? the newer one? gotta be my favorite colors on an aibo they look so slick
the red one is the ERS-210 and the other silver one is the ERS-220
but if you mean what software the red one is on Explorer and the silver is AIBO Life 2
