Would it be possible to get a video of them behaving and exploring without any interaction for an extended period of time. I'd like to know their full extent of autonomy.
Wow that’s so cool they sort of interactive a bit as well you don’t see robots ever do that at least not for me I feel like Japan did wonderful with it from two different craters it’s insane how they both look alike and act a like it’s very cool
Do you know what update Baymax is on? Stella my choco is on 1.7 I think because they were originally purchased in February 2019 and wasn't updated after that given they don't recognize the dice. They definitely recognize my other aibos on the plan though.
And what would lead you to believe that? I can't see a difference myself. They both do exactly the same thing. With the exception that one has been set to female and the other has been set to male.

Wish they would release them in Canada. Anyone know if you can activate a new aibo through WiFi only? I can get a new aibo shipped from the US to Canada but can I get it setup without a cell connection? What about not having an aibo on cellular & does that limit alot only having wifi?

If I buy a used Aibo from Japan and intend to use in my country that has no Cloud service or Aibo App available (only in Japan and US), how I can activate and use Aibo? If I ask my friend to activate cloud basic plan from Japan, can I use it as it should function in Australia?
If the Aibo was originally purchased in the same country that you live in and you have proof of ownership transfer from the original owner, I believe it is possible to re-activate the Cloud plan at cost to yourself (all US Aibos still have active Cloud plans since they were all sold with the 3-year plan bundled unlike in Japan, so this process may be different once the Cloud plans of US Aibos start to expire). However, if the Aibo was purchased from another country, it is impossible to re-activate the Cloud plan from your country (so a Japanese Aibo with an expired/cancelled Cloud plan can never have this plan renewed or re-activated in the United States).

If Baymax ever needs a vet, perhaps look into aiboclinic, looks like they at least can do battery and hip replacements.

probly not as japan ones will not connect to the cloud in the states.

All of this stuff could technically be done locally but that would cut off an income stream. One day the servers will be taken down for good.
if it was anything like the old aibo fans will make there own firmware that has all those features offline.
I believe I saw some videos of a German guy repairing this model, so there is hope for Baymax if he gets hurt.
