Great video. Kinda late to the fountain pen hobby. I do agree with you, writing with a fp does improve your handwriting. My handwriting is more consistent and straighter in line. I just bought an Estie Raven in F. Love it! The pilot 823 is next and it will be in M and transparent body. Tq for the video makes me more convince to purchase the 823! 😊
Great to hear you're getting on with your 823. I've been using it (two, in fact) for over ten years, and the appeal has yet to fade. It writes well on many kinds of paper, but the better the paper, the nicer the experience. (Note: I carry both 823 a lot with me, but for a serious grab-and-go pen, I have the retractable Pilot Vanishing Point: the pleasantness of writing with a fountain pen combined with the convenience of a clickable ballpoint.)
I also have an 823, it is a larger pen and comfortable even for my large-ish hands (size XL gloves). But judging by scale of her hands to the pen and notebook, my impression is that she doesn't have small hands.

Completely agree! I haven’t carried the 823 with me yet because it’s just too precious at the moment.
Add in a metal falcon in sf and that’s my 3 pen EDC

weird, i'm a 0.38mm gel pen user and have been craving a custom 823! (already have my grail waterman serenite fine though!)

I find it fascinating that in IS you do not write in cursive at all. In Europe it is normal writing 😃
In the US, they have stopped teaching cursive in most elementary schools. I still enjoy writing in cursive but it’s not as legible as my print.
