I appreciated Real Talk so much. I'm also a professional actor and sometimes the TUES-SUN schedule is absolutely soul crushing and destroying, especially when you fit it in with other work, matinees, or errands and the like during the day. At one point I was doing a 10 show week of a three hour play and we were all breaking down mentally and physically. These broadway videos are amazing but sometimes they feel super squeaky shiny and as though they aren't realistic to the hardships that come with Broadway/professional theatre. I so appreciated you being honest and discussing the rigor and the self care that's needed as well. Bless you for that. Like, acting professionally in shows is a marathon and its very hard to even get a minute of alone time. Therapy is common in what we do. Thank you for raising mental and physical health awareness!!!

Thank you so much for listening to the fans!! This episode made it abundantly clear that somebody involved with this is actually reading the comments and getting the top suggestions implemented into the vlog. That makes me incredibly happy. This vlog and this cast are awesome. I always love Louderman Lingo, and the new Real Talk segment is also fantastic but in a totally different way, which is cool. I'm a theatre performer and director/teacher (and work in almost every field in theatre), and I can attest that Erika's advice this week is spot-on. Great advice both for theatre and for life in general.
