Fadhil Ramadhani IKR! I saw somewhere that they couldn’t put it anywhere without slowing down the plot.
It was a long song, the original DC production was close to 3 hours, and they needed to shave off a half hour
It was boring, slowed the plot of the show and was unnecessarily cheesy with a character that's supposed to be comedic.
@@lautaroroldanpizzorno7494 No. It really wasn't. They and yes it did make the show long but it was no where near boring. I been to the DC version and the amount of cheering people cheered for Kerry was huge.
@@daydreamer1881 What's Wrong With Me? (Reprise) works a million times better narratively. Stay With Mother was too sad and told us stuff the audience didn't need to know. Plus the reprise adds character development to Gretchen as well and draws an interesting parallel between both the character's relationships with Regina and Cady. Kerry still sounds amazing in both of course, but I'm just talking plot-wise.

Agreed. It makes Cady seem more likable, too, because with that verse in there, she isn't just getting back at Regina for her own reasons, but also on behalf of her friend.
One vote for this to be a series until Mean Girls is off Broadway or ten years, whatever one is closer.

and I honestly love the sisters line followed by "sweetheart when was the last party you were at?" because yeahh okay maybe I too remember the wishes of being sisters with my best friend from when I was a kid and yeah dress-ups and games were probably still what I associated with parties at 16/17 as well because I was never very popular either (due to my refusal to fit in the "Normal" box) and I think the most recent party I'd attend at the time was a friend's birthday party (it was a pool party ironically) and it was pretty much just hanging out with friends and snacks and playing games so yeah it definitely feels right for Janis' character
I actually wish they would've kept that Stupid with Love reprise (reprise?) -- I feel like it would've given the scene the ending it needed (and it's cute but also revealing to where their characters are at)
