European Space Agency is not a part of EU institutions. There is a separate, independent treaty between member countries of ESA. Nice video though. Thanks.

See, for example, Cini and Borragan's "European Union Politics," Lelieveldt's "Politics of the European Union," Olsen's "European Union: Politics and Policies," or McCormick's "The European Union." The European Union's website also has a number of resources for understanding its institutional structure and politics. Good luck in your studies!
