Der Support von Losmandy ist einfach nur Unglaublich, besonders das auch das Upgrade alter Montierung unterstützt wird, macht die Firma sehr sympathisch und die Art und Weise wie dem Kunden begegnet wird einfach Konkurrenzlos!

It works. My recommendation: as long as you have your mount apart, replace clutch pads as well.

Excellent video. Looking forward to more of these kinds of tips. Thanks, from a happy G11 owner.

Thanks. Just ordered my G11. Looking forward to more videos. A video on how to install the RA extension kit would be nice!

Good video Brian , looks like this acts as a spring washer.

Thanks for the videos. I hope to see more since a lot of Losmandy is tribal knowledge accrued by owners over a decade ; )

The technical support for these mounts is unprecedented….as a celestron owner I’m so jealous

Fun! And well done, Brian. I thought the lead in was a smidgen long, but hey.

Do the newer mounts (as of 2022) all have the wavy washers or would some new mounts still need this upgrade? Thanks

I don't have the groove on mine; so I just cleaned the clutch pad and both corresponding surfaces with Isopropyl alcohol and reconnected the mount. Is there another way to fix the RA balance issue?

I'm having a problem with RA balance. Too much drag when the clutch is fully released. I don't have the groove for a wavy washer. How can I fix the issue? I cleaned and relubricated the needle bearings and thrust bearings which helped some, but not enough.

Hello Mike, I would try cleaning the clutch pads. We do have a How To TH-cam Video on how to do this on our Losmandy TH-cam Channel th-cam.com/video/oQgSfXKQJ5A/w-d-xo.html

What about the Dec axis upgrade

Is this utilized on the G11GT also, or just the G11? Thank you!

The wavy washer is already included on the G11T mounts. The only mounts this would apply to are the GM811 and G11 mounts

Hello, I think it would be very important if the position (with direction indicator) of the telescope is also used in the Gemini2 toturials to view the hand controller. But otherwise very good.
