What pack will you be using this backpacking season?

I have been using the circuit for 7 or more years. I am ready to buy a light weekend pack and I am coming back to ULA!

Hi William, you have good taste😃I used the Photon for a weekend trip (the Lakeshore Trail video). Even with my telephoto lens I brought on that trip, my pack felt so light I never even noticed it. Enjoy your new pack when it comes!

I bought a dragonfly for day hikes. Nice flexibility. I may even use it for airline personal item. I like the ability to “clamshell” open.

Good choice, the clam shell opening will certainly make it easier to access items when traveling.

Thanks so much. Just got my beloved ULA CDT last week. Question. Have you attached water bottles to the straps? If so, how.

Hi John, I haven't on this pack but I did on another ULA Pack. You can add a holder like the ULA Flow. I would utilize the D ring for the top anchor point of the water bottle holder since that will provide a stable point to anchor the water bottle holder. That D-ring will carry most of the load from the water bottle. Then attach the bottom attach point from the water bottle holder to strap. Enjoy the new pack!
