Little lore perspective (its not snobby I promise you): I saw some comments about Guards being awfully knowledgeable about Daedric artifacts and rarer types of weaponry. Keep in mind that within Tamriel the interventions of Daedric princes and lesser Daedra, as well as Aedra are well documented (and within the time of Skyrim rare but not exceptionally so). They make their way into child's stories and village folklore. They are preached about within the temples & chapels of the Aedra, and their prominence was displayed by the Oblivion crisis. To them the Deadra and their tools, symbols, are not background information. These are crucial historical events. In terms of our world it would be like having concrete proof that Hell and Heaven exist, and all of those entities within them are no longer matters of faith or speculations but undisputable reality. You know of halos, pentagrams, shrines, angels, demons, pantheons of deities. But to know the Gates of Hell were not figurative but visibly present and had not only appeared but opened to display all forms of horrors. Angels descending to slay Demons. Divinely appointed champions wielding weapons wreathed in light and fire. Priests of all faiths manifesting visible miracles of healing and blessing that carried enough weight to be undeniable. These events would be carried for generations, and very possibly never forgotten.
Also, we have several books and media related to Hell and Demons despite nothing proving their existence, just look at Key of Solomon and Dante's Inferno, both go into detail over things that don’t exist.
@@thinkingboi9508 book of Enoch removed book from the bible too talks abt when Lucifer fell from "grace" and turned into a dragon apparently and archangel Michael and him fought sounds crazy but there's no proof which screws up a lot of peoples faith or belief which confuses stuff even more only "proof" is well not proof just interesting rappers like juice wekd polo g talk abt meeting devil and how he tries to be their friend because they have souls stronger than average it's intesrisng
Uhh, we do carry a lot of witness from miracles. It's a hallmark of human cultures. The fact that you deny them even though like a third of people you know have seen ghosts and the supernatural is a you problem. Don't believe me? Ask people for ghost stories, many will swear you on their lives to have seen them. Priests in churches HAVE seen miracles and they still happen today quite often, though most don't personally witness the especially flashy ones, minor ones are all around. Again, a you problem.

The archery is top notch, and the melee and spell casting are very satisfying anf work just fine in either 1st AND 3rd person, thanks to excellent game camera options unlike even a modern game like Cyberpunk 2077 where you are stuck in 1st person and the melee combat is atrocious
@@CODA96 it's not, it's the definition of hack and slash. Combat in Skyrim is weak. Writing is SO bad. Lore is deeper than a lot of games, but still super weak compared to previous TES titles. AI is brain dead, both animal and humanoid. The dialogue might as well not even exist. It serves absolutely no purpose other than surface-level "I feel like I'm part of the story here." RPG elements are nonexistent, save for a few throwaway lines from guards every now and then. The graphics look pretty good far away, but get close to anything and you see how awful the textures are. Honestly, the only thing Skyrim did extremely right in my opinion is the atmosphere (including music). Everything else could have been paid much more attention to. Everything about the actual world aside from aesthetics is weak.

Little lore perspective (its not snobby I promise you):
I saw some comments about Guards being awfully knowledgeable about Daedric artifacts and rarer types of weaponry.

Well they do exist, just not likely in the way those books describe them.
All guards were adventurers till got an arrow in the knee, they all knew about the artifacts before dragonborn.
Yes, they all got married.

@@tonebonetones You press a button multiple times to kill ANY enemy. Doesnt seem top notch to me.
@@CODA96 it's not, it's the definition of hack and slash. Combat in Skyrim is weak. Writing is SO bad. Lore is deeper than a lot of games, but still super weak compared to previous TES titles. As the capital city of the United States, Washington, D.C., also houses the nation's capitol. In the first instance, “capital” is used to refer to a city that is the seat of government. In the second instance, “capitol” is used to refer to the building in which the legislative government meets.
