Through this comeback, WEi proved that they are indeed a versatile group as they pulled off a whole lot different concept from 'Twilight', AND not just that, they even helped in the song's production! I have a big respect for them since there are not many boy group now, who would put a self-written, composed AND produced-song as a Title track, especially for their first comeback. I'm glad WEi took that risk and it was definitely worth it I also think that the instrumental choice is somewhat unique and it slowly grows on me after few listens. Though I prefer slower songs on the album like Breathing, Dancing in the Dark and Winter, flower. Pd, if you have time, you should check out their 'Winter, flower (겨울, 꽃)' live performance on YHY's sketchbook yesterday. Their vocals and delivery are amazing.
Both of WEi's mini albums are super good and definitely worth the listen. I find them semi reminiscent of some of Victons older music in their delivery and are very feel good

The concept is dog turning into wolf, and the choreo really complimented the song in terms of showing this concept. The dancing makes it more powerful than before and gives a different feeling. It hits really hard and they are pretty in sync almost all the song. But I love how they decided to comeback with All or Nothing. The song, as in its instrumental, is completely different and I do like that they decided to give it a try. Daehyeon did an awesome job at writing, composing and producing the song. I can relate so much when PD goes “oooohh” in the 1st and 2nd verse... the contract between these the quiet verses and the super aggressive chorus really brings out something different. And also the choreo is so well made! the lyrics takes inspiration from the “yut” used in traditional Korean game, and the chorus during the choreo resembles how the yut roll around in the air. I love the horse(?) Choreo before the 2nd verse too. So much creativity!! In the radio they were talking about how Donghan contribute to the production of the song as he considered how to integrate the song, the lyrics and the choreo together... and this is beautifully done. Their live stages are basically on fire... Especially Kim Dong Han... this era he’s dancing like rent is due every stage!!

I wasn't immediately a fan of the song on first listen, but after a couple of times it burrows itself into your head and you just can't get it out anymore lol. And the choreo (and the stage outfits! Well, at first I didn't really get the song, but after countless times watching and listening to it, I seriously can't get it out of my head. It is a very strong, solid comeback song... They couldn't get a better song to make their first comeback... It's legitly a very good song. And to know it's produced by the leader himself, that's made it much worthier to highlight anywhere, anytime. People have to know Jang Dae Hyeon produced it, so that he'll become bigger. And what's make it much more meaningful is to know the meaning behind, they've really put their all, so they just have to throw the dice and see where it brings them. Daehyeon has really thought of everything good he has to put in the song. So proud of him. And all the members did really well expressing the song, Jang leader couldn't be prouder of that too.. BTW, the rapper that reminds you of Hyungwon is Yongha, and he's a big fan of monsta x indeed.

I wasn't immediately a fan of the song on first listen, but after a couple of times it burrows itself into your head and you just can't get it out anymore lol. And the choreo (and the stage outfits! So many crop tops!!) is complete fire. The vampire looking dude is called Yongha, and yes, we've been saying he looks like Hyungwon for a while! I love that you picked up on that haha. I also love that you highligted Seokhwa's vocals. He's my fave, he is SO GOOD (and also the only member who hadn't already debuted before this, so I have an extra soft spot for him and his honey vocals).
Also, I will always remember your iconic 'why does this dude look like Kim Donghan???'' from the Twilight reaction video and then the whole comments being like 'who's gonna tell him', but they didn't realize you actually looked it up later in the video lmao. An I C O N I C PD moment!
PS: it's funny how you talk about mispronouncing the group name and then you mispronounce Cravity haha. It's not Cray-vity. It's Cruh-vity. (clearly you've not watched THEM on any variety lol - you could, they're wonderful and Break All The Rules is their worst song and they've gotten a lot better since! I think you should give "Fuze" a listen too, its a track from their debut album and was also produced by Jang Dae Hyeon (our awesome leader)! Wei was my male rookie of the year for 2020. Personally, this song isn't my jam, I generally just don't jive with these types of songs. But I love the b-sides. Checked out this group cuz of Seok Hwa, but Dong Han is my bias. Love his vocal colour.

I loved this comeback, I think the pacing and music video is great for their second album :). From WEi's first album, I really enjoyed their song "Fuze (도화선)" (Prod. by Jang Dae Hyeon). PD, check it out if you haven't already + performance stages! (you may have on Patreon already but idk). I personally think that could have been a 'better' debut track and has great elements :)
Well, at first I didn't really get the song, but after countless times watching and listening to it, I seriously can't get it out of my head. It is a very strong, solid comeback song... They couldn't get a better song to make their first comeback... It's legitly a very good song. And to know it's produced by the leader himself, that's made it much worthier to highlight anywhere, anytime. People have to know Jang Dae Hyeon produced it, so that he'll become bigger. And what's make it much more meaningful is to know the meaning behind, they've really put their all, so they just have to throw the dice and see where it brings them. Daehyeon has really thought of everything good he has to put in the song. So proud of him. And all the members did really well expressing the song, Jang leader couldn't be prouder of that too..
BTW, the rapper that reminds you of Hyungwon is Yongha, and he's a big fan of monsta x indeed.
