- Former President Donald Trump railed against what he called “the corrupt political establishment” at the Georgia GOP convention, taking aim at the Special Counsel and the Department of Justice. The indictment, which was unsealed on Friday, accuses him of illegally taking classified national security documents with him to Mar-a-Lago when he left the White House. To me that's the worst part - the indictments are based on the people who where there when it was all happening, and aside from that Walt Naura guy, they told the truth. The E. Jean Carroll case judge told him to not speak about the case during or after. He did anyway, and I think she now gets to sue him for *another* $5M. He literally defied the judges order 5 min after the penalty phase of the case.
Now he's not supposed to be blabbing (for his Lawyers sake!) but is anyway. His carrying on is going to reduce the jury pool, if nothing else. It's only gonna make things worse for him. He'll eventually appeal on grounds he didn't get a fair trial. "My Lawyers were idiots!"

Not a gag order per se, but judge can admonish him to not speak A WORD in reference to the Documents Case, including saying the FBI "broke into his home" (they advised ahead of time)... and his other bullchit. It's for his own good.
He thinks he doesn't have to testify in the case (he never has been on a witness stand), but his blithering and complaining can be shown in court, AS TESTIMONY as if he's there in living color! He needs to shut his pie hole.
