I usually make a store where people can trade items for food and resources, though i wished the game had coordinates to make it easier to find bases. To make my store easier to find, i use tv screens to wall up my perimeter and at night the screens would have this very bright light that's shining throughout around a few hundred studs or something like that.

I absolutely LOVE SCP 3008 (the game) whenever my siblings build a base it’s pretty messy, but this build looks clean.
Tip: add a little squatting hole for you to get in your base, make sure you can fit. DO NOT make it big or the small SCP’S will get into your base.
Tip 2: if your decided to build your base on one of the towers/pillars with friends or by yourself, block your ladder at night. ⚠️ ALL SCP’S CLIMB LADDERS ⚠️
Tip 3: if you want to have 2 floors to your base, you made stairs and you haven’t even finished your roof to the second floor, or even wall. The SCP’S will jump into your base (if you have the stairs inside of your base SCP’S will be able to get inside, they can walk down the stairs.)

Inside the game there's an exit to actually exit the SCP - 3008 but the players don't realize that they're being fooled and get teleported to a box full of the creatures on the new place and kill them instantly.
