- One of our neighbours to old park farm airfield ( corner of the housing estate runway 12) approached us with a request. He asked if we could do a birthday flight for his girlfriend as he wanted to propose to her.
He had a banner made with WILL YOU MARRY ME on it.
He seen her take off with Chris and rushed back to his garden where the family was and put the banner out in his garden.
The weather wasn’t the best on the morning of the flight. We did think we would have to cancel . Luckily the low cloud lifted enough for us to do a quick flight to porthcawl and then over there garden to see the proposal.

Well just for your information, in case you don't know since your book wants to keep you ignorant to fact. Non believers get pissed when some fairytale prayer is offered. You can pray to your white dude in the clouds but leave us out.

The pilot is such a beautiful soul, he is someone anyone would be blessed to know. He's a gem. The proposal was beautifully planned. Her joy was fun to be a part of. She was so nervous at the beginning but awestruck by the beauty and to top it all off....the love of her life, asking her to marry him! 🎉❤😊

I successfully passed my FAA check ride the day before I graduated high school in 1975. The girl I married 48 years ago took one smooth, uneventful flight just after I got my license and that was it. No more flying for her! I sure wish she had the same enthusiasm for flight that the young lady in this video did!
