Thank you so very much for this review. I have had the ScorPal for several years and love it. I also had the Martha Stewart one but only used it when I needed the 1/8th inch scoring. I recently found out that ScorPal has now come out with a new one that has 1/8th measures and purchased that one. Gave my Martha Stewart one to a friend. For a long time I rarely needed the 1/8th scoring so wasn't much of an issue, but I've done more fun fold cards lately so this new ScorPal is perfect for my needs.

Thanks Alexandra! I love your ten minutes or less reviews. I always learn something, last time I learned what to do with my sticky paper I had just gotten and you know what I did something really cool with that. In addition to using it in my Misty to hold my card stock I put it on the lid because I have these scripty sayings from lawn fawn that were still on their original packaging and I was able to stick all of them to the lid of my Misty by using the sticky paper and then stamp them repeatedly and perfectly all at once. It was great. I want you to know that I also use my score buddy all the time and I never knew until just right now that you could push a little button and the bone folder pops out. I’ve been using my thumbnail to go under it from the front and release it all this time.

Martha Stewart all day long!! I have both the large and small. The small one is marked A2 at the top which makes scoring for your card bases so easy. Use the large one mainly for rosettes and box making. Love them, wouldn’t trade them for any other.

Like some previous commenters, I have a hard time with keeping my scoring tool in its track. I bought the Martha Stewart large combined scoreboard and movable cutter just to move the cutter mechanism, which is like an attached ruler, to the chosen score track so I could use the side of the "ruler" to steady my hand. The actual blade holder was unwieldy so I removed it, keeping the ruler. But it was too large and heavy so I gave up on it. Now I use the Stampin Up combined wire cutter/scorer for my card bases.

Hi Alexandra! This was a great review! I have the large Martha Stewart one which I found to be too cumbersome, but it does have an envelope maker on the back. I just purchased the We R Memory Keepers at Tuesday Morning for $3.99. I like it a lot but I still sometimes use my paper cutter to score out of convenience after I cut my paper. Thank you so much for all you do for us. ~ katz

I love my ScorPal and ScorBuddy!!! I use the buddy for classes and crops as it travels well with the case. And it makes envelopes but I prefer my envelope board.
I had the MS version first but hated it! Jumped the track, tore paper, the tool kept falling out of the well which never stayed closed. Grrrr! Lost one and when I wrote to the company about a replacement, they never replied.
My Scor brand tools work so well for me and I rarely ruin my paper anymore. ❣️❣️❣️ And, Diana is a sweet lady!!

I have the large Martha Stewart score board. However, I just find it too big for most of my projects and card making. To make it more user-friendly, I simply used some Washi tape and/or a sharpie to mark where I score the most often when making cards. That way, like with the Scor Buddy, I always knew where to score every time. 😊

I love my big Martha Stewart scoring board that comes with the envelope tool. It has the envelope tool tucked away under it and it doesn’t come off unless you pull it. It has a little compartment at the top for the bone folder that fits not only the bone folder, but also a pen/pencil, craft knife (pen shape), eraser, (< all at once, I’ve tried it), etc.. It is perfect for my studio and I’m so mad I didn’t get the small one while it was still being sold. Also, it is made by ekSucess by the way, and they still make their version of it without the storage compartment, but with the clip in area for the bone folder instead. just like the small one.
I do need, and will get, a smaller one for toting around the house and travel, but I like the colors of the WRMK one and like the back of the ekSucess one because of the idea of not having to shift my paper for envelope making. Wish they ekSucess sold the bone folder in a different color though because that yellow is not cute. 😂

I love your videos. One thing though, the scoring increments on the boards are 1/8" and not 1/4". That difference may influence someone's decision when purchasing online. I have 2 large and 2 small score boards and use them for many different projects. It all depends on the size paper or cardstock I'm scoring. Thank you for your videos.

I have a large Martha Stewart that I used with a Teflon bone folder. I recently replaced it with the Scor-Buddy simply because of size. I really like it, but if you work with larger pieces of paper, the MS works great. The Scor-Buddy is simply more convenient.

Has anyone else gotten the Ultimate Craft Tool from Crafters Companion? It’s a purple, plastic small briefcase like all-in-one that has a scoreboard, a side to make envelopes and enveloboxes, plus a side that helps make gift boxes of all shapes and sizes, limited by your paper size. It also helps you easily make all sorts of different kinds of cards like an easel card, a constantina card, a gate-fold card, and with separate plates it holds inside, it can make crazy cool cards like the exploding card, the purse card, the metamorphic card and the stepper card. It also has designs on it that you can emboss onto your card and envelope, etc. Inside it also holds a cutter to cut paper (although I find that hard to use and still prefer my Fiskars paper trimmer), part of the trimmer guide becomes a ruler, there’s pegs you stick in pre-made holes for bow making and plastic but efficient embossing and bonefolder tools. You can buy other plates that get stored inside the Ultimate, that have different embossings on them. Note: you emboss things you want to cut as well, like tracing an outline. It comes with a dvd-rom that teaches you a lot plus you can buy others to learn even more techniques. Some you can just find on TH-cam. Sara Davies is the inventor/creator of the Ultimate and has won awards for this tool. It was huge in its homeland of Britain and then was pretty big here back in the 80’s, I believe, but I never hear anyone talk about using it now so, I was just wondering if anyone has heard of and/or uses one. I got mine a couple of years ago on HSN. I love it! It really is useful, especially to bring to a crop because a lot of your tool and decorations are built in it. You just need paper and adhesive, oh, and scissors. For some reason they don’t include scissors. The other funny thing is, it only has ever come in purple.

I have the original Scor-Pal which I found to be so unwieldy because of its size so I jumped at the chance to purchase the Martha Stewart one when I found it on sale at Michael’s. I was disappointed when I ruined more than a few cards by the score tool slipping out of the groove half way through my scoring! I was thrilled when the Scor-Buddy appeared, and by the time I purchased mine it was scored at 1/8” all over. It’s my go-to scoring accessory and, yes, I store mine in its little ‘travel’ pouch after every use 😄. Alexandra, always learn something from your videos: scoring twice! Lovely flowers!!! ❤️

I've got the EK Success board & I have to say I'm not a huge fan. I'm going to change over to the Score-Buddy. I's toyed with the idea & your review just made my mind up for me! The ones I've seen also have marks at 1/8" which will help me no end. Being in England none of my rulers have such small measurements.

Was looking for a mini score board as the one I have now over 10 years old is Martha Stewarts MAMMOTH SIZED. Lovely as that is it's just way too big for most of the projects as in it takes up sooo much room. I do have it quick to grab but NO rarely ever do. So I was thinking about the We-R but decided to search more. Now today I found Amazon carries the so called Scor-buddy but it's again got multiple lines every 1/8" and so quite different today in 2022 than when this one was demonstrated. I kind of like your style shown here today. However I think I'll order the Amazon as it's a reduced price today compared to googled prices elsewhere plus shipping. Now a real FUNNY when I returned decided to read a few reviews here and several reviews down someone is saying the almost exact thing they too have the Martha Stewarts HUGE score board!!!! I should sell mine or gift it. I would gift it but twice it was rejected and sadly it's size was the reason. It's a great score board and no doubt what was top of the choices around 12 years plus ago too. But just gotta have a mini. Thanks for the comparison review today it is very helpful.

I have an older Scor-pal I got 2nd hand. How much I appreciate having it but it being too big to be convenient is why I picked up the EK one when it was on sale at a local shop. Sadly, my EK one has been misplaced in my room since my sweetie moved stuff out of his way to do some maintenance on my computer. I have found all other things he moved but not that :( I know I'll find it when I move to the other room in a couple weeks and that will make me so happy.
