I am having 50 year old cane weaved sofa set.Still rock solid but recently one leg cracked & 2 chairs weaves have been damaged. I am unable to find skilled labour to repair this in North Karnataka. Work is available in india but skilled Workmaship is missing . Some furniture guys told me to use wood blocks and Othe sofa belt . But I am want preserve the craftsman artifacts of india.Thinking to do it on my own .
It's in Santhapeta ( Munumud Bus Stand ) the shop is located in cross road junction. i don't have a contact information. by next week i am going to nellore, tha ttme i can provide contact information

It was done at Nellore. He is definitely a skilled labour and I am not sure if he can do it in Karnataka. May be I will try to get his number.
