Ladies weight train and kick excessive cardio to maintain bone density. For the collagen don't just drink collagen or take supplements get your oranges or foods high in vitamin c. Skin massage massage massage everything. And use sunscreen going out and Aloe Vera on exposed skin coming in. Eradicate all unhealthy relationships business or personal as you will age even faster staying in them. Have a place to pray, meditate, full of love , peace positive ideas and put up pictures to remind you how beautiful you are. Best to you ladies 50 and embracing it.

No lies are spoken in this video. I am 55 and have been diligent about skincare since my early 20s. Even when I hit 50, people would guess my age as mid-30s. Then, about a year ago, I noticed my skin was starting to sag. Now, don't get me wrong. It's still smooth, even tone and without lines and wrinkles... but it is sagging. Skincare can only do so much. Black may not crack, but it can certainly sag

Because doctors made women feel like they were crazy & even told them they were 😢
The medical community has been very dismissive of how the hormonal changes during this time could totally overhaul an aging woman's life. Self deleting rates & ideations go up during this time because our hormones are outta wack.
And many doctors used to refuse HRT but this treatment could've saved so Many women the grief of dealing with these changes. However HRT & estrogen treatments are provided to those who have had gender affirming surgeries with no questions asked. It's actually wild.
New information on all the symptoms associated with peri & menopause has only become available in the past few years and research is still ongoing. So please don't fault the women before us because they didn't know and didn't have as many resources as we do today.

That’s such a helpful analogy for me! The best skincare in the world can have you looking glowy, fix dryness or oiliness and minimize acne or hyperpigmentation but it can’t change how your bones sit or jowel development or anything structural or hormonal. Much like a house! You can give it a deep cleaning and polish the furniture but if you’ve got damage in the walls or outside factors affecting the foundation and pipes then all the polish and expensive furniture in the world won’t help.

I’ve been very blessed to have my mom talk to me about menopause very openly. I also have paternal aunts who told me what menopause was like for each of them. I’m 53 and I noticed that I have to take collagen pills, potassium, magnesium in order to remotely feel like myself. I do not eat very much processed food now I am mostly eating fruits and vegetables with lean proteins and that has really helped me as well. I make sure to drink mostly water in order to keep my skin well hydrated and I’ve had to really get lots of rest at night as I age. The weight gain has been a struggle for me, and even my mobility. Also, menopause has not been very kind to my hair at all. I used to have a long hair and now it’s like I have a lot of breakage in my hair is different lengths throughout my head.

I immediately started HRT (hormone replacement therapy) I don't have to suffer through painful periods anymore, but my hormone levels are still adequate enough for me to easily maintain my weight and they keep my skin looking young and glowing. As for face lifts, he said around 10 years and probably start around 50. He does say skincare can keep skin looking nice and of course he pushes his line but comparable products can probably be found for less money. Dr. Mary Claire Haver and Dr. Heather Hirsch talk about menopause in their videos. And I've seen a couple derms get more into drinking collagen (Dr. Haver sells one and also has a diet plan).

I think getting blood panel is also super critical as I’m extremely anemic and have low vitamin D so trying to supplement my deficiencies (which honestly got worse while on ozempic since I eat less) which has a big impact on overall body functions including skin and hair health. And TY for the lil cameo of Hydro Jelly Peptide serum on the balloon 🙃

I eat better n exercise 'every' day now, but if i miss a week, u can tell! Boy o boy my advice to you young uns, START NOW. Build exercise into ur every morning, eat veg or salads or pro biotics for brekky, heavy lunch, very light dinner before 6pm! Listen, brain fog makin me feel like im stupid, n its very embarrassing too, im an established middle mgmnt but it feels like im incompetent! And the hot sweats ! Not good! I have to 'strip'. I cnt breathe sometimes, n they are thick n fast, at least every 30 mins! I shaved my head coz the jair was makin me tooo hot! Serious
All thru the nite, sleep deprivation n broken sleep is debilitating as the hot sweats wake u all night! Some days im so tired i dont even kno my own name! My sheets soakin 'every nite', hot cold, cold hot! Divet on, divet off, alll nite! Its really not good at all. I have to wash sheets 'every' morning. And u have to manage all this silently like nothings up, when 'everything' is up! U can take hrt, which i tried, put on 2stone in a month! So came off focussed on diet which does work if u are committed! But listen, i was glad to lose my periods but wat i got instead by way of this menopause is a gazillion times worse! Listen,,,,
This is how bad it messed me up, Id rather have the period back!
U better look after wat the lord gave u ciz if u dont,,, itll b gone in the cluck of a finger! Frfr

@@val6189it must be DNA because I didn't even take care of my skin at all in my youth and only started using facial cream and only the original oil of Olay about 10 years ago when I asked a colleague who was a year older than me how she had such beautiful skin and I didn't even use that religiously and I'm ashamed to say didn't even remove my makeup at night. I'm 72 years old now and even my doctors are surprised when they look at my chart. Went to the doctors two weeks ago and two ladies in the office maybe in their thirties or early forties told me I have beautiful skin. It's very even toned and people have mistaken me for wearing foundation which I only started doing in the last 10 years very lightly because now there is more variety and I finally found some colors that will match my skin. Currently I am using a face tint and I like that a lot better I just really never liked foundation. But since I never really took active care of my skin, it's got to be DNA😂. I only started looking at TH-cam videos for facial care and applying makeup when I asked another colleague also near my age always beautifully made up where she learned to do it and she told me you tube. My favorite makeup artist on TH-cam is a young girl in her twenties because she doesn't use expensive makeup. That's where I got the idea of using tints rather than foundation. I really think DNA is the main foundation for younger-looking skin more than anything else, definitely follow the advice of improvement from the inside out, water, sleep, rest, avoid drama, use retinol, avoid sun, don't frown!

Summer is brutal for me, because I sweat in my hair more during that time. Can't even wear a silk press in the summertime lol. I take silica, collagen, hibiscus tea. I was on HRT for a year, and got off, lost 25 lbs immediately after ceasing. Vitamin D and K are your friend. Incorporate omega 3 in the diet. I eat a high fiber, protein, low-moderate carb diet. Consider your lifestyle: raised in the city vs. country; partying and indulging in alcohol; how much water you drink daily. These must be considered on top of diet and exercise. Caring for your skin is critical, as I began at she 19 and am now 64. Aging, family background, weight gain/loss, surgeries, and menopause aside, i started being aware of my skin and cared/watched over the years, so acne and other breakouts were minimal or absent.

And that’s with some skincare dedicated towards anti-aging (10years), supplements anchored with collagen and silica (10years), a healthy-ish diet filled with G-bombs (40 years), and mostly consistent exercise (30 years). Honestly, if you're on the younger side, keeping up with your nutrition, sleep and stress is plenty enough unless you have certain conditions. I had absolutely horrific skin at 16 (I'm 20 now). Acne, wrinkles, hyperpigmentation, I even had jowls forming and my neck started sagging. One blood panel later, we found out I was very deficient in vitamin B12, D and had low potassium. B12 and potassium are so important for nerve and muscle functioning, I felt an instant increase in strength and firmness after starting supplementation like B12 shots. Started a simple but targetted skincare routine, started working out for 30mins 3 days a week and started a daily pre+probiotic et voila, my skin's pristine. Acne gone (could just be that I grew out of my teenage acne), wrinkles gone, jowls gone, my skin is firm and I feel string.
