Need some recommendations for brands. OEM seems to be discontinued. There are a lot there on ebay and amazon. Someone on the forum recommended Arnott. I am confused.
I replaced mines last month at home 🤟🏻 f15 too.. changed the silica balls in the compressor too btw.. Edit: I have a question plz.. like I already commented in past videos, I live in CA, my x5 is parked in the garage, the brake’s master cylinder is failing and lost compression so the brake pedal goes to the floor. I know it’s a question of seals, do you have an idea where I can find just the seals instead of changing all the master cylinder?
Are you talking about the f15 brake Master cylinder ? If yes , you do not change seals that is not a Ford ! I think you did not charge the brake fluid at the time and now is contaminated! Try to flush it with istaD activation! It Is possible to have problems with the ABS hydraulic unit, not with the master cylinder! Not even on old E models I didn't see the master cylinder to fail !
@@MOvidiu My brake fluid is 4years.. ista doesn’t show abs.. I’ll try to change/ flush the brake fluid and see.. when my friend presses the brakes pedal, I hear the electric vacuum pump starting but the pedal still goes all the way to floor.. my car is X5 F15 xdrive40e

@@MOvidiuYes, as long they are properly maintained... But I think, it's not very easy if you don't have Ista and cannot use it. Otherwise you should change components rather in time than when the they start to show "bad" values. I'm not sure, but I guess that you can see, with Ista, If the timing chains are a little bit stretched, let say 1 cm!? By the way a short and efficient video. And a place where to work, and professional tools...
