    They spin because it is for the very joy of being alive and being and feeling every sensation of the water and sleekness of their own bodies! I know how I would feel if I were a dolphin! Just that same exuberance and overflowing sheer joy to be alive!Just imagine how great it would feel to be that streamlined and able to swim and jump and have your family all with you!

    So much more satisfying seeing them in the wild rather than a tiny tank performing tricks.

    I have always wanted to see wild dolphins. We recently went out on my grandpa’s boat, near the Chesapeake Bay, and saw 5 wild dolphins. It was the most refreshing thing to see them happy, jumping, and playing. So much different than the dolphins in sea world.

    Clearly these lovely creatures are enjoying themselves but i am amazed at the difference in the way they jump , some do a summersult others spin while others get as high out of the water as they can before diving back in.
    Somebody said that it wasvfor comunication but having watched it looks like its a case of look what I can do.
    I recall while serving i was on a ship that actually had a window directly over the props and I could spend hours watchingnthem go through the propellers even when the ship was doing 280 rpm, so goodness knows just how fast the dolphines could swim.
    I get a very strong feeling after watching them that there is in fact not a great lot of difference in mind power between them and us because it felt that they were in fact just saying come on and play or i bet you cant do this, which was more than true.
    They are I think the most lovely creatures ever along with the birds of prey, the big difference is the dolphine is more human friendly purely because we can in a small way get closer to them and inter act with them.
    It is really a sight to behold when you come up againts a rea.ly large number of them, watching them almost fly through the water, changing directing without ever bumping into one another, the creatures are without doubt meant to be free, everything about them say just this so it makes me a little cross to see them in captivity, far better to leave it up to them when they visit us and interact,, it still have me baffled as to how they get their body to start a twist when some can do over ten complete spins before hitting water again, the only part of the body i can see that allows them to do this is the fins, but it still dumb founds me to see it.

      @n1ghtgr1ffen69 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      the tricks are a way of communication actually, specifically from the vibrations sent thru the water when the splash back down, they can use it to signal danger or even greetings

    did you know dolphins are one of the smartest creatures on earth? but whats even more mind blowing is that dolphins were once walking on earth and decided to go back to the waters since life was easier. fun, games, pranks, food and all. we should strive to be like dolphins! free spirited and fun! no joke! that is why they play with humans so much! there were once us! dont believe me? do some research. we must not hurt dolphins at all! it is a blight against nature. dont eat them, dont hurt them. if we strive to be playful as them we would all heal.

  • @mariazingg3098
    @mariazingg3098 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    I can almost feel their joy while they jump, swim in the water. I have seen how they do tricks in tanks in parks and it breaks my heart, they do it for food (they get a treat every time they perform). That is heartbreaking, not to mention they are meant to be in open water. Not cooped up like sardines.

    • @film50565
      @film50565 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes, but many dolphins in captivity were rescued and cannot be released. It's more compassionate to rescue them and give them the best life we can versus leaving them to die on a beach, for example. Most dolphins that beach have medical issues such as deafness.

    Humans always forget other mammals want to have FUN too. :P We now know more about whales than ever before, including how they have dialects unique to their pods. Novel ideas even get shared and passed down through their own pods, so that a unique culture within a pod will develop over time and distinguish one pod even from a pod of the same species in the same region. They're not mindless copies of DNA. They LIVE too. :P Fun and joy included.

    fun fact, the spinner dolphin uses the splashing after they do their trick in the air as communication,specifically in the vibrations sent through the water from them splashing back down, now u would think the splashing plays no part but it actually does, every splash vibration is as different as each trick, some to greet each other, some to warn each other, and i think its also an attraction thing but im not quite too sure about that
