i miss my hospital training when i was in college, i am having fun and very excited to my duty, taking care of the patient is the most fantastic job. i hope i can do it again this time.
You never clean a thermometer like that. It is one swift from clean to dirty. This will help not spread germs all over the thermometer as you just did.
For respiration, I feel like the medical community can change that to having your finger right outside of the patient's nose. I feel the warm air during exhaling. Staring at a person for me is less accurate.
No, only multiply by 2 when doing 30 seconds because that's less than 1 minute. Yes, you're suppose to count how many times you felt the pulse in 60 seconds/1 minute. Hope that my answer helps.
+Kolero85 If you are low income, the Red Cross or your local employment agency may be able to help you. I just paid nearly 1000 dollars here in PA for a class and it is over 100 dollars for the Red Cross Test.
I encourage you to check out your local Job Corps. they offer tuition free training for several jobs. it's all paid for and is usually funded by the state. If you are low income you automatically qualify. best of luck
I got my CNA though a worker retraining grant through my local unemployment office b/c I was unemployed at the time and not many jobs in my field. I went to the local community college
Most places like hospitals and nursing homes will pay for you to get your certificate I started out as a housekeeper in the hospital and now I'm going to school for cna starting out doing housekeeping or dietary in a hospital let's you get your foot in the door
Agreed and she didn't resanitize her hands afterwards those breaks are nasty people use their feet to push down on them at least in the hospital we. do cross contamination if you touch something and then a patient
I hate watching these videos and people don't wear gloves if your hands are going anywhere near a patient you have to wear gloves especially if your touching them
