Actually Katy Perry's fandom is majority gay males ages 16-25. On spotify she has more men listening to her music then girls. I've seen straight and gay men loving her music. You could easily sing this song and substitute "all that u want boy" to "all that u want girl." Also Katy Perry is always strange haha it's what makes people love her haha
This video is about misogyny. How men treat women like a piece of meat, and nothing but something to look at and no offense but just like how you have an opinion on how her hair should be, men do this often and tell women oh I like this better on you. When really no one should tell anyone how to wear their hair or clothes, etc. and at the end of the video with her on the pole as like the evil villain and her "minions" killing the misogynistic people who treat her like meat. She will be how she wants to be not to please anyone but herself. And as far as who should listen to it, it's not a song for just women, most people who love it actually are gay men and dancers (I'm a dancer myself and all my dance friends love it no matter their gender or sexuality) just as songs men make about women and mention "girl" or whatever doesn't scare away women from listening to it, is how you should treat music as well even when it says "all that you want BOY" that shouldn't be the focus.
