    Ivd been window cleaning 40 years 25 with pole system I’ve come to the same conclusion as you I only use SLX and over 8 40ft I do prefer my SLX with the 4 fan jet brush! … I need a new daily pole I’m thinking SLX I just checked when i bought my last 35ft It was 2019 so it’s more than paid for itself. I did replace end 2 sections 18 months ago . Used an Gardiner 18clx and a 35slx for years. But recently bought a Phantom 25 & 40 hi mod. The clamps are a game changer. And they’re so light. Bloody pricey though!! Use a Gardiner 35cms extreme dupont brush with fan jets a swivel head and the pole uses a univalve and tubeless kit. Taken a few years and a lot of trial and error but finally think I’m there!!

    Hi David question I'm thinking of getting a new pole a 22ft that can be a 18ft by removing a section slx you can do this with can you add or remove sections to the ova 8 . I'm still using the old fibreglass poles so heavy

    • @squeakycleandave1
      @squeakycleandave1  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Whichever pole you get as long as it’s full carbon you will see a massive difference and you will wish you had done it sooner.
      You can remove the bottom section but it’s recommended that you don’t. Only the bottom section is insulated in case you touch a power cable and and canon fibre is highly conducive whereas fibreglass doesn’t conduct electric at all

    My SLX broke last week. Can't afford a new one at the moment so I'm using my CLX, but once I'm able I'll be ordering the standard carbon Ova 8 I think. I too suffer with tennis elbow and achy hands and I also put it down to using a swivel. You definitely grip harder and over compensate by holding the pole at awkward angles, rather than just trying moving yourself a little bit and cleaning as normal.
