I wonder how Ambre Royal sits beside Tolu? Perhaps the fact that Tolu already exists in her range creates the need for a cool amber by contrast.
Good question. Yes, I'd say this is the cooler cousin ;-) But it also has a much less interesting dyrdown.

Oud minerale is totally what I've been searching for. Sel Marin by heeley is now in second place for my ocean hit. Oud minerale is the SENSE of licking a rock when the tide has gone out.

Awesome review! I just received today Oud Minerale and it's very different than what TF usually comes out with. Very sea weedy with Oud. Oud is very woody in this one. It is very pleasant and not offensive. I need to see how long it lasts for.

Yes, it's definitely trying to be a marine oud. I haven't been drawn back to it, I must say.
Musc Ravegeur is my favourite of the ambre creations due to the presence of musk.

Naiad is a Greek nymph that resides in fresh water - Naias being plural. No doubt hand in hand in language is a genus of immersed aquatic vegetation. I know, I know. I'm 3 years late to the party, and you probably already know this. But if anyone reading this page had a curiosity, here you go.

No, I don’t touch the folded-over part. It’s just so the perfume doesn’t come into contact with anything else.

Persolaise Perfumes btw in their press release Mme de Nicolaï says the scent is inspired by what she smells near her lab near Palais Royal in spring. I went by that area a few days ago and I did smell a few whiffs of that rosy smell. I'd say Mme de Nicolaï did a great job replicating that scent!

I love love aromatics elixir ! It’s very clean and calming smell to me , I am 30 now have been wearing it for over 10 years , but I have never managed to find another similar smell perfume , can you recommend one ?

AE is a true original, so in all honesty, it's difficult to recommend a smell-alike. But do you mind if I ask why you want something else, if you enjoy wearing it?
