For those who struggle with the tutorial boss, here is a 3 step method to beat it easily. Step 1: left ctrl. Step 2: left click. Step 3: repeat Step1 and 2 until boss dies. Bonus tip, do avoid staying in place. It's literally a attack helicopter.
You forgot the air quotes on helicopter. Your AC even in the first mission is about as tall as three stacked shipping containers, that thing is a small helicarrier

@@guntere1004 No, I feel you don't really notice how bonkers massive the machines of Supcom are. A Mech Marine, a t1 grunt unit that the cost of 3 pennies and the damage that's as strong as gentle rain is the size of a MT/AC. Now realize that 99% of your arsenal is bigger than that. By all accounts thw gunship would be equivalent to a UEF T3 Broadsword gunship, which tracks given how tanky and powerful both of the damn things are.
@@somethingelse401 historically speaking fromsoft had terrible pc ports. I remember dark souls was unplayable until modder fixed it. Heck, even elden is 60fps locked.. Soo it's like an exception to the rule.

Just like this chopper is very weak to the sword, Malenia is very weak to the Blasphemous Blade's Weapon Skill: Taker's Flames. It completely turns the tables on her. For easy mode, add Mimic Tear.
I have never played a fromsoft AC or Souls-like game before, i got AC6 because cool Mech game. I Saw one game review before i brought it to make sure if i wanted to buy it. I dont remember anything from the review except a few words. “Game mechanics” “Hard Boss” “Use sword”. Took me one death to figure out how to not die miserably and i beat the heli. Felt amazing, rolled my way through with a lightweight AC until i got to Balteus. Died 13 times but learned 2 things from that experience. Tempered aggression and build coherence. (You never wanna hesitate and waste a chance to inflict meaningfull damage, but never overcommit to a situation you cant confidently trade up in. You need strategy for your build, slapping random cool guns on can kill MT’s but if you wanna push your performance to the brim you need to figure out how you want it to work and fly! If you wanna beat a boss, either stubbornly get better, or switch to a tailored build to hard counter and roll the boss.) Eventually went double-trigger SMG’s with a melee swap and right shoulder direct damage weapon. High speed, hand-eye reliant gameplay that i really enjoyed. Made it work throughout the entire rest of the game except for the Ice-worm. So all in all, i finally get the hype around these fromsoft games, its the kind of fun and engaging gameplay i havent felt in years after getting used to the grinding monotenous grinding that is RPG’s and nonlinear open-worlds. Only games that through Challenge and story made me react so emotionally before are Metro 2033 and Last Light. And yeah, AC6 has an amazing story, i loved it. Very replayable, not endlessly so but pretty good.
“Being tactical” meaning being slow. AC is definitely a game where you have to think tactically, but it’s urban warfare tactics. Strike fast, strike hard, and make sure the enemy can’t do the same
you’ve managed to make a video that parallels the game in both dedication and art, and have made it with such a niche since of humor, that the same people who are angry at this game will also be upset with this video, for similar reasons… very well done.
I beat this boss on my second or third attempt. People wouldn't have such a hard time if they actually put what they learned in the tutorial mission to proper practice.
Im old ans slow, so I have been killed by this "helicopter dozens of times". Then something clicked in my head, I stopped clinging to tactics that almost worked, found a new one and easily won. Later I met Balteus and killed it on second attempt.
I played it the first time on pc beat the first version of the story then got it on ps5 and ran through all the bosses so easily . Once you beat em you can beat em 100x

Lol, I play BG3 and AC6. If you're coming from only turn based games, you probably don't have the concentration, reaction time, or an internal radar for missiles/opponent's position. If they think the Helicopter filter was a boss, then they will get their butt pillaged by CEL240 or Ayre.
@@UltimaDoombotMK1 this is why ppl need to take boost kick and AA. The AA cancels the first missile barrage and like 80% of its shields. Although u will still need to know the fight after that initial cheap shot.
Not gonna lie, I struggled on the tutorial boss, i'm a souls veteran but that doesn't help AT ALL, this isn't a soulsborne game, this is an ARMORED CORE game, the first I ever played, and boy oh boy, once you git gud on this game, IT IS FUCKING REWARDING(I mean, even the road to giting gud is), the story, the feels, AH THE FEELS, the OST... made me fall in love with Fromsoft games again(I disliked Elden Ring A LOT, everything felt dumbed down, the story, the gameplay), i'm even considering re-installing my Dark Souls games to relive them(even tho I must be extremely rusty... Rusty... "I CAN FLY, I FLY HIGH"), well, thats it for my comment, buddy.
Once you get a hang of it, you can bully any boss, any enemy. You don't have arbitrary levels or weapon reinforcement levels. Just the tools you picked and it's about how you use them. Even the starter build can defeat the final bosses easily with someone skilled in the cockpit. I like it.
everything about this game is fantastic. the story is good enough for you to be paying attention so you don't miss small little changes, especially after your first couple of runs. the guns are some of the best things in this game i run a big fuck off cannon on my shoulder always I've loved that gun ever sense i saw it in the trailer. the difference in place style and how much differently each persons mech will be is amazing on its own. your going to love this game if you love a good challenge and a few twists here and there. Time to fly 621
It took me 2 tries to get past the 1st filter. 1st time failed probably coz I was just having too much fun shooting enemy MTs and trees and light poles and so by the time I realised there was a boss I had no ammo on neither the Rifle nor the Missile launcher and I was too dumb to realise that the melee did massive posture damage. But I did get it to 25%(approx) hp on that try. 2nd try I cleared it with 2 meds remaining. Tbh in the entire game the only Filters that gave me trouble are Balteus (almost quit playing after trying to bruteforce using a light build), Ibis thingy (Phase 2 starting was just brutal b4 I got the hang of its patterns) and Ayrre (that fast/teleport move thing where I don't even know where I should point my camera at). Rest are quite easy
Beating the tutorial Boss wasn't gonna happen on mouse and keyboard so I just plugged in my trusty PS5 controller and I easily beat the filter copter the fight took me around 7 maybe 8 tries but on controller it was utter pish posh
I don't understand how this guy is supposed to be hard, you want a hard boss Ibis, Ayre, and good old Balteus kicked my ass for hours before I realized that close quarters weapons like the Zimmerman were OP as fuck
in Order of difficulty, i'd rate Baltheus(took me two days to beat, after i discovered the power of the 12 gauge bullet sprayers) first and G4 Volta in the arena second (Tank legs, so he got good stagger bar and grenade cannons so he staggers you easily) every other boss was easy after that. I think the main problem with baltheus is that I prefer mid-weight build with reverse legs for the jump speed, and the first time you face baltheus all you have is a bird-like light reverse biped that is way too light for what I like, in addition to having so few options for weapons and parts at the time. The game makes that better later as it should but the part selection is still lacking. I'm at a point where i can't fine tune anything because it would deviate too much from what I want, other games still allowed some wiggle room for part selection so you'd have more parts fitting a niche and you just picked the one that works for you and there wasn't a single AC setup that worked all the time everytime, the only exception are weapons, I ended up beating the entire game with melander parts because every other part seemed built in too different a direction, even within the mid-weight category.
I like how both AC6 and FtD are games with a skill level so high and a learning curve that's steep enough to make a lot of people cry and complain though FtD is more steep in the learning curve straight up, you need a fucking PhD in engineering
@awanderer3047 From the Depths a 3D RTS building game mostly ships, but you can make almost anything with enough skill try it out if you like making ships and see them sink as you try them out against medium difficulty enemies
oh yes XD teach people how to make their computer easy to be hacked, great video.... had no problem here with easy anticheat and the kernel protection turned on, if you have a problem, your pc probrably is full of crap XD
Tutorial difficulty is alright. Just wish they bothered teaching you the "Basic Controls" in it instead of after. I really would have loved the ability to reload my gun early instead of unloading it at the nearest wall, among other functions. (I'm talking about Basic Controls in the Training room.)
w8, there were this problems with anti cheat at launch ? How comes I had better experience on Linux? That feels illegal, I was under assumption that everything is supposed to break down on Linux and I have to recompile everything to make the game work.
As a fan of "games". Like, any game at all. I'm on the side that each boss in the game be it's tutorial or just first stage are supposed to kick your ass because they're a FREAKING BOSS for a reason. A final test of your learning, research, resolve, and attention you been paid thus far. Even something so simple like Gutsman or Cutman from Rockman who so much basic as jumping around while one can throw rocks at you and another just shoot a curve projectile at you which you can easily dodge by a aingle press of button, a jump button. I bet these 'gamer' or journalist will be all pissy just because they can't stand still and shoot them boss to death like bullying a strawman ....
The tutorial should teach the player. That doesn't mean it needs to be easy, but this boss does a terrible job of teaching the player the mechanics of the game. I did not struggle with this boss much, but it is a bad tutorial and I wish people would stop sucking off FromSoft too much and just admit when they're wrong.

I can say I'm not that good with games, but I barely struggle against the boss by doing literally everything the tutorial taught me. I stand by my statement that any boss at all should be capable to kick your ass, be as simple as lunge at you for contact damage or throw a basic projectile at you, or in this case, a barrage of homing missile and the capability to predict your movements and even accounted for the momentum, that thing legit has brain to a certain capacity. You seem quick to take offense from those not agree with you or your opinions so feel free to elaborate on what's in your mind, or how terrible the boss is at concluding the tutorial. I'm willing to hear you out. Of all the obstacles I faced, the only bad experiences I had is a bad code that allowed the boss to fly off the 'Arena' area, apart from that, it seems fine to me.
Cause every parts in the PC wants to do thier own thing. Just like a "healthy functional family", someone will get pissed if you let them see something they doesn't like

AC6 has an excellent filter, all those that couldn't beat the first boss rage quit with some hilarious review bombs.

The first boss is easy, if you can't adapt your playstyle for a boss or two that is pretty sad.

It's a good thing that the starting kit is pretty decent, I'm using Pulse Blade a lot, and the missile launcher is almost a mandatory slot for me

They teach you the controls as soon as the game starts. Also, it's not hard to figure out on your own.

If you cant beat the heli wich is the turtorial boss and has the most basic attack patterns then yeah actualy skill issues and get good

Cause every parts in the PC wants to do thier own thing. Just like a "healthy functional family", someone will get pissed if you let them see something they doesn't like
