This build was just great, it reflects the original idea of the dev when he created this game. Historical cities had a charm that is lost in the modern cities. Your choice of this type of style is really refreshing and for fulling for a histiry buff like me. Keep it up and hope for more in the furtur.
Been very much looking forward to this, going to watch and try it in game. Your previous builds are of course hyper efficient but personally I would prefer a more historical, organic build that still is very efficient.
I aimed to weave together historical city-planning trends, particularly the grid-based layouts of the time, while incorporating my own creative touch. The approach was to imagine myself living in that era, but with a different knowledge set-applying my style within the constraints of the period to design a city that feels both authentic and uniquely my style
First family is definitely harder on hard settings. You really need to have everything extremely compact and manage build order strictly to get that first one. I managed to get my first one in June of year 1 just now, so there's space for optimization there.
New Hovel also has its charm I guess 🤣 but I do second the grammar change to Nowa Nora though, cause even if it is a borrow from Latin, it would have been changed to local grammar
Also im curious, why dont you just hire a mercenary band for liek 50 gold to take the camp knowing you get 100+ back instead of either skipping or pulling your mens ? (at 41:30). I followed your epic start video and only ever pulled my men on the first bandit camp can rest self funded itself
Yes the story of Viktor and the Brawndo
Lol that can be the next series
The optimized builds are cool but the historicaly accurate build is cooler and the intro with history lesson was awesome. Thanks for your videos!

I had no problem getting above 50-60% it just kept tanking at the start of every month - honestly think it's a bug
Nowy Nora? I mean, nora is like a hole in the ground where typically animals like foxes or so live...
Disregarding grammar, bc if you took that into account it'd have to be Nowa Nora
It’s a mix of polish and Latin
New Hovel also has its charm I guess 🤣 but I do second the grammar change to Nowa Nora though, cause even if it is a borrow from Latin, it would have been changed to local grammar
@@WeatheredFeather new hole it is
Nora is literally burrow in polish, suits a settlement perfectly, New Burrow, Nowa Nora

Are you always playing on balance or you do challenging sometimes ?

Was asking cause I was specifically more interested in challenging runs
